SO we got a 3rd dev/publisher that's thinking it's a great idea to release when the console version comes out.,

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/kingdom-come-deliverances-pc-release-may-be-held-back-by-the-console-version/

I am definitely not liking this approach at all because it reeks of compromises being made for one platform over another.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

So many people raging on the FFIX Steam forums is hilarious.

I'm glad its delayed/being delayed...hoping it doesnt come out until at least next week so I can get more funds :P.

It's likely going to be a mobile port with mega soft sprites from the last one.

Mega soft sprites?

You mean FFV and FFVI? Nope - its gonna be like the Mobile port which was released three weeks ago

Looks pretty good to me. People have also said that FFIX on iOS/android is possibly the best Final Fantasy game on there performance wise too.

Considering Silicon Studios is the group doing the port job - its highly likely they are working out any kinks for the PC release.

I was talking in the manner of it being like what they did with the mega soft sprites of the previous FF release =P.

I do hope the majority of kinks are done with though. Also hoping for NIS to get their shit together with Disgaea.

Me too - I hope the same with Tales of Symphonia.

I've kinda given up on ToS as the devs haven't said zip or done zip for the game since it came out. I'm pretty sure those devs have basically given up on PC gaming because they can't admit they screwed up and work hard to fix their issues.

Holy shit stop the presses:

It finally happened, Techland has finally acknowledged the issue after a thread from over a year ago and a recent thread with more than 600 comments.

Also here's a shot I recently took of the latest patch TL threw in with some "balance tweaks" and Nvidia's shadows being added as a graphical option, needless to say this was what happened:

Also it seems they nerfed the firearms legendary tree which now means firearms aren't going to be as great as they used to be and that honestly makes gameplay for me a bit dull since I used my trusty golden shotgun as a means to an end when it came to dealing with the Freaks of nature undead.

Also, first reviews and benchmarks for Far Cry Primal

Guru3D: http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/far-cry-primal-pc-graphics-performance-benchmark-review,1.html

PC Games Hardware.de (as always, in german): http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Far-Cry-Primal-Spiel-56751/Specials/Benchmark-Test-1187476/

The game is demanding, with no card being able to achieve perfectly stable 60fps at 1080p on Ultra, although the 980Ti is very close.

And, as with every new AAA launch, Nvidia has launched a new set of drivers:

GeForce 362.00 WHQL Driver – Game-Ready Driver For Gears of War: Ultimate Edition & Far Cry Primal

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/geforce-362-00-whql-driver-game-ready-driver-for-gears-of-war-ultimate-edition-far-cry-primal/

Unsurprisingly enough – and given the fact that Far Cry: Primal has just been released – NVIDIA has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, this is a game-ready driver for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition & Far Cry Primal.

>>Get them from here. It looks like at least Nvidia knew about the Gears of War launch.

Oh. and there's something more

RAINBOW SIX SIEGE PATCH ADDS KILL CAM TO RANKED, TWEAKS SPAWNS AND MORE

Ubisoft has released notes for a brand new Rainbow Six Siege patch – and it ushers in some major changes. Set to roll out tomorrow (March 1), the patch introduces Kill Cams to the Ranked playlist. This might seem counterintuitive – Kill Cams can help the opposing team gather crucial intel on their enemy's placement – but Ubisoft says it's a necessary peacekeeping step.

DEMOCRACY 3 IS 66% OFF IN HONOUR OF SUPER TUESDAY

http://www.pcgamer.com/democracy-3-is-66-off-in-honour-of-super-tuesday/

With all this talk of 'primaries', 'caucuses' and 'supreme mugwumps', I can safely say the US electoral system is more arcane than it has right to be in a country under three centuries old. Today is Super Tuesday, during which a bunch of states get together and exercise their right to vote for a man who until recently I believed to be the comedy foil in a long-running political soap opera. This is what I imagine is happening in polling booths across the States.

That 'to-do' is now a 'doing': Remote Play between the PS4 and PC will arrive in the console's next firmware update, version 3.50, bringing it into parity with the Xbox One.

RULE THE WAVES IN EU4'S NEW XPAC, MARE NOSTRUM

http://www.pcgamer.com/rule-the-waves-in-eu4s-new-xpac-mare-nostrum/

Europa Universalis 4 continues to sprawl like my historically inaccurate British Empire (sorry, France, but I think we can agree that Paris was fair trade for Calais). So far, EU's expansions have improved warfare, granted the ability to play as colonial nations and introduced Common Sense. Now, the unblinking eyes of Paradox Development Studio have turned to the seas for Mare Nostrum.

Though I turned off Nvidias shadows, I'm a bit saddened that they nerfed the guns which I've been spending most of my Legendary levels on. I am definitely happy that they are looking into being able to turn off CA in the game though, it only took nearly a year and a half for it to happen lol.

Far Cry Primal being demanding on ultra?, doesn't sound like a decent port if you ask me as the footage and pics I've been seeing have the game not looking all that different from the console versions.

Oh, calm down. I don't want to make your day .

And both Nvidia and AMD still need some driver optimizations, it's weird to see the 290X being as fast or faster than a 980.
