It was news to me when I saw it in my recommended list lol. Both GITS and SS lol.

Yeah, I think Clannad on Steam is the most that a VN has been $50.

All others I've seen the most were like $40 and as low as $10 to $15.

Thee's always Steam Autumn/winter sales to take care of that VN, they'd have to be insane not to lower it during those times.

Yeah - speaking of which - they only have the special winter cards during the winter sale right?

I wonder what kind of sales we'll see in the next few days....

Not sure but I would imagine so like they did for summer, still I'm going to miss those flash sales.

I hope it'll be sales off the enwly released titles and not super old ones like they tend to go with, I'm at least hoping for money off the new DQ game coming out along with BLOPS III but it's Activision so fat chance I've got there. Most of the games I want are wishlisted anyway for me to keep an eye on price reductions and email calls as well.

Also hoping for Helldivers to be cheap upon release as well.

Would be nice if EA had a Steam like sale, aybe then I'd likely buy Battlefront if it were cheaper.

THE WITCHER 3 IS HALF-PRICE IN GOG'S LATEST SALE

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-witcher-3-is-half-price-in-gogs-latest-sale/

GOG is throwing a sale on the GOG-exclusive games in in their library, which happens to include a rather popular roleplaying game called The Witcher 3. The huge RPG is half-price, just in time for the holidays. If you already have The Witcher 3 and liked it enough to play more, the Hearts of Stone expansion is a little bit cheaper. If you want to catch up with the series, The Witcher 2 is 85% off.

Just to give a more complete list:

Witcher 3: 50% off, Wild Hunt expansion 11% off

Witcher 1, Witcher 2: 85% off

The Witcher Adventure Game (basically a digital Boardgame in the Witcher Universe): 70% off

Late 90's/early 2000's AD&D Classics (Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, etc...): 80% off

SSI AD&D Gold Box and derivates titles: 50% off

Star Trek Games: 60% off

Warhammer Games: 50% off

All of these only apply if bought in the complete respective bundle (exept the Witcher games, which are not bundled), else the price is 20% less off

@Chazore: Also got an invite on Steam from me. Different Avatar, but you'll recognise the Username I think

Pffft

The games I want the most right now are old games lol

Prince of Persia 1 and 2 for Steam (forgot their sub names, sands of time and something something) - been waiting for damn Ubisoft to make it on sale and Quake Collection NEVER GOES ON SALE n_n

I knew I should have bought that Prince of Persia Complete Collection back in 2012 when it was still available n_n

The Sands of Time and The Warrior Within. :P

They had the whole series on sale either last year or the year before. I was kinda low on cash so, like an idiot, I only bought PoP 2008 for $2.50, but they had all five games for $10. Not a day has gone by that I don't regret my decision.

Also thanks for reminding me I need to grab DOOM 3 BFG when it goes on sale, I could do with a few good jumpscares, Dying Light is kinda doing that for me but I've become more powerful since the start of the game.

Wait what!???!?!!?!

HOW COME I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THIS :OOOOOOOOOO

I dunno, man! I just checked the "related news" page for Sands of Time on Steam, and the sale was on April 3rd, 2013. Hopefully some other site marked it down more recently or something, 'cause it's crazy to think that it hasn't been on sale in 2 1/2 years. :/

Witcher 3 going for 50% off on GoG with it's Hearts of Stone DLC going for a shaved 10%.

https://www.gog.com/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt

Basically costs £20 for the base game on GoG with the translated price which is miles better than Steam's £50 asking price, though it's also up to CDPR how they price it on Steam so it's no surprise to see them making it cheaper on their own home turf than on Steam, I expect a slightly slashed off price during the Steam winter sale but I can tell CDPR are wanting more people to go to their place than Steam, I honestly wish they'd just price them lower on both and let the people decide instead of making no brainer choices for us.
