^ You mean, for the ONE point and click fan on VGC? Yeah, very nice visuals, but I bet it will be designed with iPads in mind.

This is the latest great release for the few point and click fans out there: http://memoria.daedalic.de/en/mediacontent/screens/

I thought I would throw you a bone and mention point & click games once in this thread.

P.S. What is with VGC messing up links these days? It's almost like the editor is slowly getting more broken...

P.P.S. I see Basil still doesn't bother reading my posts.

I also added the game to ioi's new baby gamewise (where it magically appeared much to spurgeonryan's surprise, who's always stunned by all those wondrous game-related topics outside of his endless Nintendo doom threads and the 2 Nintendo games he buys each year).

You're saying that here because you know this is the last place he will come to, a PC games (among other things) thread!

Please excuse my bad English.

Yea it has been mentioned, and it is hella impressive. As for Sir I have been waiting a bit (I have a lot of shit to play lol, so I didn't really mind waiting a bit for them to polish it up), but it's one of my most anticipated games, I probably should download it soon lol.

Vin Diesel reassembling Tigon Studios to create third Riddick game

Vin Diesel’s Tigon Studios has been reassembled, according to the actor, in order to deliver a third game in the Riddick series.

Speaking in two separate interviews, recently withScreencrush and with IGN back in July, Diesel said he has “reassembled” the Starbreeze team behind The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay “to create the third game.”

“There’s this huge concept [behind the game] which is more of a MMO game that would be centered around people being able to play mercs and it’s basically the merc trade,” he said to IGN. “There’s a very cool game concept behind that. So we got our guys in Sweden that were part of Starbreeze and we’re pulling them back together to make the next Riddick game that we’re really excited about.”

Diesel said the team made the two prior Riddick games as a way to “flesh out the mythology more,” without having to spend “tens of millions of dollars” by doing it through films.

“So it was kind of us being resourceful in some ways and using a less costly medium, the video game and the animatics and the cinematics in the video game, to, you know, expand the universe,” he said.

The latest Riddick film is now in theaters and it pulled in over $18.7 Million last weekend.

No shooter mechanic has managed to top bullet time for imbuing a scene with a sense of awesome. Considering Max Payne did that more than ten years ago all shooter developers should make a sad face.

SuperHot doesn’t replace bullet time but it does develop it.

It’s free, too, so there’s no reason not to play it and feel awesome this evening.

SuperHot’s simple. The game is playing in super slow motion when you stand still. When you move the world speeds up. While your enemies lineup to shoot you to shribbons you need only stand still to spot the trajectory of their bullets, plan a path to safety, and execute it. After letting off a perfect headshot, of course.

You can play it here.

It’s only a short game, more of an experiment in mechanics than anything but it’s pulled off with aplomb. The minimalist aesthetic, too, shares something with Frozen Synapse (another game that drips awesome). All those whites are stark reds give the game a sense of extreme clarity.
