@Chazore: Given that the performance of the old Tonga (R9 285), now Antigua (R9 380), was between the 280 and 280X but closer to the latter, I'd say that the 380X will beat the old 280X (or 7970 GHz) with ease.
Meanwhile Nvidia talked a bit about Pascal in Japan, but didn't say anything new about it

2xPerformance/Watt over Maxwell, 4 stacks of HBM2 for a max total of 16GB (32GB for enterprise cards) with a bandwidth of 1TB/s. Also more about Nvidia Link or NVLink.
@Sprash: If possible, I still prefer to buy physical games, I think the last one was the complete edition of Civ V (and it was cheaper than the Steam version on sale!), but most of the time I go digital because it's simply cheaper.
Please excuse my bad English.

I'm not a fan of horror games (or movies), so I'm not a good source for advice. That said, I've heard very good things about Amnesia and SOMA.
You can look at Steam for games that can suit you with the different tags (note that you can find the same game in all those categories):

Ok, time for the news, starting with the ones about mods.
STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT – FIRST MODDED MATCH SHOWCASED RUNNING ON CUSTOM DEDICATED SERVER
http://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/star-wars-battlefront-first-modded-match-showcased-running-on-custom-dedicated-server/
YouTube’s ‘NoFaTe’ has released a video, showcasing the first modded match for Star Wars: Battlefront running on a custom dedicated server. As NoFaTe noted, for the purposes of this demonstration, players have infinite health, and jetpacks have been modified to fly much farther. In other words, this could very well open possibilities for mods in Star Wars: Battlefront.
FALLOUT 4 MOD FIXES DIALOGUES WITH PROPER TEXT MESSAGES, REPLACES CONVERSATION USER INTERFACE
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/fallout-4-mod-fixes-dialogues-with-proper-text-messages-replaces-conversation-user-interface/
God bless modders. We are pretty sure that a lot of gamers were put off by the new dialogue system of Fallout 4. Instead of showing what the character would exactly say, Bethesda’s latest entry in the Fallout series featured a system similar to the one used in Mass Effect. In other words, players could choose a specific type of answers and were unable to see what their characters would say.
FALLOUT 4 MOD LETS YOU HAVE MOST CREATURES AS A COMPANION, EVEN A CAT
http://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-4-mod-lets-you-have-most-creatures-as-a-companion-even-a-cat/
I've been travelling the Commonwealth wastes with Piper, and let's just say... we get along really well. I'm not sure I've met anyone else in Fallout 4 I'd prefer to travel with, but with this new mod allowing most of the wasteland's aggressive fauna to be companions, I think my mind can be changed.
*Question: do you want me to keep posting news about mods or you're not interested in them? And if I keep posting them, do you prefer if I do it like any other piece of news or would you prefer if I just put the headline and the link?
And now, the rest of the news
DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED HAS BEEN DELAYED TO AUGUST 23RD
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/deus-ex-mankind-divided-has-been-delayed-to-august-23rd/
Square Enix and EIDOS Montreal announced today that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed until August 23rd, 2016. The game was originally planned for a February 2016 release, however EIDOS Montreal claimed that it needed more time in order to release a more polished title.

CRYSIS IS NOW 8 YEARS OLD, MODDED VERSION STILL GIVES TRIPLE-A GAMES A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY
http://www.dsogaming.com/screenshot-news/crysis-is-now-8-years-old-modded-version-still-gives-triple-a-games-a-run-for-their-money/
Crysis was released in Europe on November 16th, 2007. Crytek’s title is now eight years old, and its modded version still gives most triple-A games a run for their money. Crytek created a really amazing shooter back in the days; a shooter that received two underwhelming sequels. Below you can enjoy some modded screenshots from ENBSeries members ‘Rubber-De-Flubber’ and ‘Unreal’, NeoGAF’s members ‘Stein3x’, ‘The Janitor’ and ‘chromatic9’, Gamespot’s ‘FantasyGamer’ and us.
CRYTEK’S BACK TO DINOSAUR ISLAND TECH DEMO IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON STEAM
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/cryteks-back-to-dinosaur-island-tech-demo-is-now-available-for-download-on-steam/
Crytek has just announced that its spectacular CRYENGINE-powered VR tech demo, Back to Dinosaur Island, is now available for download on Steam. I don’t know whether this will please those that were disappointed with the recent PS4 exclusivity announcement of Robinson: The Journey, but at least this is better than nothing, right?
THE CREW: WILD RUN IS NOW AVAILABLE, NEW UPDATE FOR THE CREW OVERHAULS VISUALS
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/the-crew-wild-run-is-now-available-new-update-for-the-crew-overhauls-visuals/
Ubisoft has announced that The Crew: Wild Run, the expansion to the action-driving MMO The Crew, is available worldwide for download on UPLAY. In addition, all players of The Crew will experience a free update including updated graphics, new lighting effects, redesigned areas adapted for all types of vehicles and the all-new weather system.
>>I don't know what's more surprising, the fact that Ubisoft has launched a free update that improves the graphics or knowing that there's enough people playing the game to the point that they've launched an expansion for it.
ASSASSIN’S CREED: SYNDICATE – PC GRAPHICS SETTINGS REVEALED
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/assassins-creed-syndicate-pc-graphics-settings-revealed/
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate releases tomorrow on the PC and Reddit’s member ‘Profoundsoup‘ has shared images, revealing the game’s PC graphics options.
GREENMANGAMING INTRODUCES NEW PIECES OF INFORMATION, WILL NOW SHOW THE SOURCE OF ITS KEYS
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/greenmangaming-introduces-new-pieces-of-information-will-now-show-the-source-of-its-keys/
Green Man Gaming decided to introduce two new pieces of information after this whole debate over whether it is offering unauthorized game keys. As such, every game available on GMG will now display when it is expected to receive a key and its source/origin.

INTEL'S FIRST MICROPROCESSOR, THE 4004, IS 44 YEARS OLD
http://www.pcgamer.com/intels-first-microprocessor-the-4004-is-44-years-old/
Sunday, November 15 marked the 44th anniversary of the Intel 4004, which was the company's first commercially available microprocessor. The 4-bit microprocessor was used in the likes of calculators and taxi meters (however its usage in Pioneer 10, the first spacecraft to leave our solar system, is sadly a myth).
>>Emm... Happy Birthday, I guess? And lol, Intel was the ARM of the time
EVERQUEST'S 22ND EXPANSION GOES LIVE TOMORROW
http://www.pcgamer.com/everquests-22nd-expansion-goes-live-tomorrow/
World of Warcraft gets a lot of attention for being the king of the MMO hill, and for good reason: It's been around for more than a decade, and it continues to pull in multiple hojillions of dollars every month. But Daybreak Games announced the release of the 22nd expansion to Everquest today (and the 12th for Everquest 2) and any game that can stick around long enough to notch up that many add-ons deserves some attention too.
GUILD WARS 2'S SPIRIT VALE RAID IS LIVE
http://www.pcgamer.com/guild-wars-2s-spirit-vale-raid-is-live/
The "initial wing" of the first Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns raid is up and running. It's a ten-player adventure called Spirit Vale that has you chasing a missing Pact squad in the north of the new jungle area of Maguuma. There will be "dark secrets" and "strange magic" and, if I had to guess, an enormous tree monster boss or two (the concept art above does offer a clue).
JADE RAYMOND IS MAKING AN "ASSASSIN'S CREED-STYLE" GAME FOR EA
http://www.pcgamer.com/jade-raymond-is-making-an-assassins-creed-style-game-for-ea/
Electronic Arts, in the form of EA Studios Vice President Patrick Soderlund, said in October that it wanted to start making "gigantic action games" along the lines of Assassin's Creed, Batman, or Grand Theft Auto. It struck me as kind of an odd position to take—the definition of 'action' may be subject to interpretation but EA is hardly a stranger to "triple-A, big productions"—but it did dovetail nicely with the news from this summer that Assassin's Creed co-creator Jade Raymond is now flying the EA flag.
>>Will they also launch a new one every f*cking year?
OVERWATCH BETA TEST TO INVITE "A LOT MORE PLAYERS" IN FOR THE WEEKEND
http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-beta-test-to-invite-a-lot-more-players-in-for-the-weekend/
A post on Battle.net announces a weekend stress test for Overwatch. That means Blizzard plans to invote "a lot more players from our Americas and Europe gameplay regions" in for the three-day aduratijon. Anyone who's opted in for beta testing could be called up.
