Electronic Arts has announced that it will stop the sales of games and content in Russia and Belarus as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
"We continue to be shocked at the conflict that is unfolding in Ukraine, and join so many voices around the world in calling for peace and an end to the invasion," EA said in a blog post.

RimWorld has been removed from Steam in Australia after all

While space colony sim RimWorld has been available digitally in Australia since 2013, it was recently put in front of the Australian Classification Board due to a potential console release. That would mean physical copies on the shelves, which need to have an age rating on them. In their wisdom, the Board gave RimWorld a rating of "Refused Classification", making it illegal to sell in Australia, due to the way it deals with "matters of sex, drug misuse or addiction, crime, cruelty, violence or revolting or abhorrent phenomena in such a way that they offend against the standards of morality, decency and propriety generally accepted by reasonable adults".

You probably shouldn't try to buy or sell Elden Ring runes on eBay, but in case you're wondering, that is a thing now. A quick search on eBay reveals dozens of listings offering millions of runes for anywhere from $10 to $25, with some listings advertising hundreds of millions of runes for several hundred dollars. So far, it looks like a few hundred listings have sold through.

Bandai Namco has announced an issue that can cause Elden Ring to, "under certain conditions," fail to save to Steam cloud. The problem will crop up when you're booting up the game, and you'll get an error message saying that your local files conflict with the steam cloud files, where a backup of your saves is kept. One of the two files will have a more recent date and time—that's the one you want to keep, like as not.

The Elden Ring map has countless points of interest, most of which reward players with an item, a boss fight, or something more surprising. But there's one large structure in the north-east of the game's starting area, Limgrave, that seems completely inaccessible. If you've seen it, you've probably spent about half-hour unsuccessfully trying to get inside.
Halo Infinite co-op coming some time in Season 2, other fixes much sooner

The team behind Halo Infinite has a lot going on, turns out, and a new blog post outlines where their priorities are and what they have in mind for a release schedule moving forward. Right now, they're working primarily on completing Season 2, which will release on May 3rd. They're also working on co-op play for the campaign, which won't release at the same time as Season 2, but will release during it. They're also then working on Forge, so you can make your own stuff, and Season 3 for release later this year.

Halo Infinite's lead multiplayer designer has announced his departure from 343 Industries.
Andrew Witts had joined the developer in 2019, overseeing the development of Halo Infinite's free multiplayer mode. In a short but sweet tweet, Witts thanked fans and 343 for his three years spent with the company. "It's been an honor leading the MP design team over these years," he wrote. "Thank you to all Halo fans for your feedback over the years. We made this game for you." Witts didn't announce where he was off to next but said he was "going to take some time off to relax and recharge" first.
