Well, AMD's quad cores are Zen2 based so it's not that surprising that Alder Lake beats them with ease.

Maybe that will make them get their head out of their ass and launch a Zen3 quad core (no, the 5300G doesn't count), or lower the price of the 5600X.

So Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 is actually pretty fap worthy.

As some of you may have guessed, I am a bit of a weeb but one of the issues of being a weeb on Windows is we don't have a good manga app that does everything. Least not to my knowledge.

What I mean by that is a manga app that not only reads the manga files/folders but also allows you to go to a certain manga websites and browse manga and download them or read them.

I have found manga apps that read manga quite well. I have also found manga apps on windows store that claim they do everything but often break or show ads and other nonsense. You can also go to websites like manga dex and such but the interface is not often ideal and can be buggy. The jist of it is that there is one manga app to rule them all imo and that is called Tachiyomi which is an open source app from android. It integrates with seemingly endless sources and you can download or browse with in the app. It's free with zero ads. But it's only available on Android...

But now thanks to Windows 11, I have found a way to make it run on Windows by sideloading it!

https://www.windowslatest.com/2021/10/24/how-to-sideload-android-apps-on-windows-11/

Now technically, the Windows Subsystem for Android is only available to insider builds of Windows but people have found a way to extract it so you can install it on any Windows 11 computer. You also need to make sure virtualisation is enabled in the BIOS.

After I followed the steps and gave it a go and... Boom! It works quite flawlessly so far. I can full screen it and it adjusts without any issues. Download and read the manga and etc.

Best of Steam 2021 shows off a few surprise top sellers and most played
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/best-of-steam-2021-shows-off-a-few-surprise-top-sellers-and-most-played/
Another year, another dump of the top games from Valve. The Steam Best of 2021 is out, and this year's top games include a few notable hits among them. Perennial successes aside, Dead by Daylight climbed into the top category of games by gross revenue this year, as did Apex Legends. Among the top-selling new releases for this year were games like Naraka: Bladepoint and Battlefield, 2042, which you would expect, but that Valheim, Back 4 Blood, and Farming Simulator 22 are in the Platinum category.
Divided into rough tiers (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) and measured by gross revenue or most concurrent players, Steam's Best of 2021 isn't a definitive survey of PC Gaming, but it is an important one. As usual, we have categories for Top Sellers, New Releases, Most Played, Early Access Grads, Best of VR, and Controller Friendly.
Notably, Halo Infinite and Age of Empires 4 both make it into the Platinum category for this year's New Releases, meaning that their presence on publisher Microsoft's PC Game Pass hasn't done much to dampen traditional sales.

Today's free game on the Epic Store is Moving Out: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/moving-out.

The Humble Store has added a new Winter Indie Sale, with up to 90% discounts during the next 10 days. There are keys for Steam and GOG: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/winter-indie-sale/

Titanfall 2 gets fan-made custom servers on PC
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/titanfall-2-gets-fan-made-custom-servers-on-pc/
After months of struggling with hacks and DDoS attacks that at times rendered the game virtually unplayable, Titanfall 2 is getting a second lease on life by way of a new mod called Northstar that enables players on PC to set up their own custom servers.
The Northstar mod enables Titanfall 2 players "to host their own Titanfall 2 servers using custom scripts and assets to create custom content, as well as being able to host vanilla content." Importantly, it also greatly reduces the risk of debilitating attacks on servers: The same vulnerabilities exist, but the servers themselves are effectively off the radar.

Development on Final Fantasy 16 is almost six months behind
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/development-on-final-fantasy-16-is-almost-six-months-behind/
Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida has posted an official statement that we're not going to find out more about the game this year. This is despite Yoshida's promise that he would provide more information before year's end.
"I regret to inform you that I will be unable to keep that promise as complications stemming from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have delayed the game's development by almost a half year," said Yoshida in a statement posted to the Final Fantasy XVI Twitter account.
>> It's old news, but they posted it yesterday.

That laptop won't be very lap friendly. And I also wonder what autonomy it will have, given how much powr it uses and that it will go paired with a high end CPU as well.

I dont even bother modifying my list at all.

I love creating dynamic collections on Steam. I have one for every genre and for some store tags ("point&click", "dark humor", "retro", "choices matter", "cyberpunk", "detective", "stealth") and for my unplayed games.. and for some combinations of these options.

Within each (static or dynamic) collection I can set the sorting to game size, release date, MetaScore, playtime and other criteria.

For example all my installed Steam games sorted by size on HDDs/SSDs:

Or my 2021 games sorted by my playtime (I mostly played older games on Steam... most new titles I played on GamePass):

Or my action games sorted by MetaScore:

Or my point&click adventures sorted by release date:

Or my 2021 games sorted by Steam reviews:

Or my 2011 games sorted by achievement status:

So many valuable info with just a few clicks setting up a dynamic collection, you should try it:

P.S.: My static collections sorted by release years ("1980 - 1989", "1990 - 1994"... 2020, 2021, 2022) took a lot of more time, but I'm happy with the results. Remakes/remasters are added to the collection of the original release and to the collection of the new release).

The state your library must be in

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
