Football Manager may not be something you’d immediately expect to spawn a feature-length documentary but An Alternative Reality: The Football Manager Documentary is a thing and if you live in the UK then it may be coming to a Vue cinema near you.
The documentary charts the history of the famous football simulator and how it’s found fans around the world and influenced the sport itself.
On 7 October, for one night only, the film will be on show in 26 Vue cinemas around the UK.

Developers often say during their Kickstarter campaigns that they’re footing a large part of a game’s development bill themselves. In Elite: Dangerous’ case that turns out to mean more than £6 million.
More than that, since the campaign completed that budget has risen “by quite a lot,” according to studio founder David Braben.

Ubisoft have clarified their clarified position and said that Assasin’s Creed: The Americas Collection is coming to PC but not in the US. There was some confusion after the bundle was announced on Monday because a later statement from Ubisoft said that it wasn’t coming to PC. We’ve spoken to Ubisoft and they’ve confirmed its PC release for us in the UK but not in the states.

If you want to see some spell-flinging, robe-wearing action from Magicka 2, you’ll need to listen to Totally Not A Vampire, Vlad, doing a little karaoke number. Clearly it’s a lesser known European hit from the ‘80s. Paradox sure knows how to trailer.
And yes, I did sing along. I have the shame of a reality television person.

Blizzard’s counting down to the launch of Warlords of Draenor in November by spinning some yarns about the titular orc warlords. The third one on the list is Durotan, who you might know as the old man of one-time leader of the Horde, Thrall, and head honcho of the Frostwolf Clan.
This one’s a wee bit sad.

Minimum is a survivor. It seemingly went down with the ship when TimeGate closed its doors, but the third person shooter was rescued at the last minute by Atari, before being handed over to developer, Human Head.
After a stint in Early Access, the MOBA-ish 5 vs 5 competitive shooter has launched properly, and you can snatch it up on Steam right now.

With V0.9, which launched today, Star Citizen’s Arena Commander module gets it’s most significant update yet. After updating from the launcher client, you’ll be able to flit around space in new game modes - including a race mode, the Murray Cup - in some new ships, which you can put to bed in new hangers.
And, importantly, you’ll be able to do it with chums, as the update introduces friend codes on top of a slew of other features.

Elite: Dangerous is a wee bit pricey at the moment, though certainly a lot less expensive than it was during alpha. But don’t fret! The launch version won’t leave you homeless and destitute.
Frontier Developments has announced the cost of the release version, and it’ll only set you back £39.99/$59.99. There’s a digital pre-order edition in the works, too. It’s a wee bit cheaper and comes with a few treats.
In the mean time, check out the short but flashy TV spot below.
