They (TFT Central) have just published their review of the LG UltraFine 32EP950 OLED Pro which it's NOT a gaming monitor (60Hz and no support for any kind of variable refresh tech), but it can give some insight into how awesome those OLED monitors could be.

Yea pretty much. I know that LG is coming out with their 4k 42 inch OLED TVs but if we can get a 32 Inch 4k gaming TV in a reasonable enough price, I'd be 110% on board!

Well, they're making a 27" version of that monitor so I wouldn't be too surprised if we start seen OLED TVs of "reasonable" sizes hitting the market relatively soon.

The inkjet printing OLED technology will meet the increasing demand for high image quality and high frame rate in both medical and gaming applications."

Gotta love the OLED adoption

$4000 expected price.. ouch. Still, can't wait for more displays to be available at affordable prices and better specs etc. Been wanting mid sized OLED monitor for some time so this and with mining crash finally happening, things are about to get more interesting in the PC space. And we might actually have a chance in getting new GPU's!

Keep in mind that it's a monitor for the professional market, a price higher than usual is to be expected.

Yeah, pro monitors are pricey. Even then its still overpriced. I remember Dell releasing a 30" OLED (UP3017Q) in 2017 for $3500. You'd think that things would go down and not up lol.

Also, Outriders is dead on PC. 93% drop in players on Steam.

I know Yongyea.. xD but yeah, this is why I bother with FOTM games. They never last long.

GN has more detail regarding the upcoming "Low Hash Rate" versions of 3080/3070/3060 Ti

- AIBs can still make and sell cards that don't have hash rate limiters on them but it depends on availability of the variant that Nvidia ships them
- Cards that have the hash rate limiter will have a logo on the box as well as on the product page enforced by Nvidia
- 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti will only be the Low Hash Rate varient
- It only cut the hash rate when mining ETH. All other types of coins will mine normally

My guess is retailers are gonna be selling the LHR versions closer to MSRP while jacking up the prices of normal cards

I was seeing this game hyped like crazy pre-release. Looks like they just couldn't overcome their technical issues post release in time.

I did play the demo and though admittedly fun, I could see it becoming boring after a week or two. Games like this really depend on delivering good endgame content and non buggy experience. Both of which they couldn't deliver on, with gamebreaking bugs to boot :P There was a crazy hype train on it but people got their full after a couple of weeks play.

Shame because if they put more time into it before release it could have been received a lot better. Publishers/devs should do more testing in their games before releasing them tbh.

SE really isn't doing so grand lately with the stuff they publish. Avengers flopped, Outriders flopping, stupid exclusivity crap with FF, exclusivity with KH collection on PC, then before that, JC3-4 not being so great either.

Like every few years a publisher or two just go to shit after a while (like EA did, then Ubisoft, Blizz, Acti, Konami etc).

Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes gets another teaser trailer
https://www.pcgamer.com/dark-pictures-anthology-house-of-ashes-gets-another-teaser-trailer/
House of Ashes, the third out of the eight planned games in the Dark Pictures Anthology, got another bite-sized trailer today. Whereas the first trailer showed off the setting as well as star Ashley Tisdale (yet to be officially confirmed), this trailer is more focused on setting up a spooky mood. We already know that House of Ashes tells the story of a military unit that wakes something better left sleeping below a Sumerian temple, and in this trailer that seems to be exactly what's going on—as a soldier makes his way through the temple, he happens upon a colleague, who by the looks of it has had a bit of an accident.

https://www.pcgamer.com/take-two-says-an-all-new-gearbox-franchise-is-coming-sometime-before-april-2022/
Take-Two Interactive said yesterday that it plans to release 62 games through its 2024 fiscal year, ranging from "immersive core" games to independents—although I'm not entirely clear on how a multi-billion-dollar publisher can seriously claim to be putting out indie games. Anyway, we were left to guess about what those games will actually be, but Take-Two did reveal that one of them will be something—something brand new, apparently—from Gearbox.

Bethesda's official forums will be closed for good next week
https://www.pcgamer.com/bethesdas-official-forums-will-be-closed-for-good-next-week/
As an old guy on the internet, I have a real fondness for forums. Social media has largely usurped their utility, but it can't match the sense of community that comes from hanging out with a (relatively) small group of like-minded fans of particular games, movies, music, or whatever else is interesting enough to bring people together. Sadly, nostalgia does not equal relevance, and next week Bethesda Softworks will begin the process of shutting its forums for good.
