The problem I have with those new APUs is that: A) We don't know when they'll launch (AMD hasb't even announced them yet); B) We don't know how much they'll cost; and C) We don't even know if they'll be available at retail or if they'll be OEM only like the last bunch.

With that in mind, I feel better keeping an eye on what's already available on the market.

Well, for C, AMD already affirmed that the ZEN 3 APUs would be available at retail later this year. But I agree on the other ones.

Personally, I'm waiting for one of those APUs to build a home server. My main problem right now is to find a small B550 Motherboard that actually supports ECC memory (you can use ECC Memory on all AMD motherboards, but only a few actually support the error correction).

I wasn't aware that they've had been confirmed to hit retail, thanks for that.

Good luck with your mobo hunt.

Tales of the Neon Sea is a 2D point-and-click adventure that sets players off as Rex, a cop-turned-PI in a grimy cyberpunk world. That may not be the most unique videogame setup you've ever heard, but it's got a "very positive" rating across more than 1,100 reviews on Steam, and that's nothing to sneeze at. For the next seven days, it's also free for the taking on the Epic Games Store.
>> This Thursday, the new free game will be "3 out of 10: Season Two" (they already gave away the first one).

Now that the Spring Sale is over, GOG has two new deals:

At Steam, Two Point Hospital is 66% off until April 8: https://store.steampowered.com/app/535930/Two_Point_Hospital/

Call of Duty: Warzone’s attack helicopters are gone again after the invisibility glitch returns
https://www.pcgamer.com/call-of-duty-warzones-attack-helicopters-are-gone-again-after-the-invisibility-glitch-returns/
Attack helicopters were added to Call of Duty: Warzone in December 2020, but were quickly removed after players discovered that they could be used to trigger an exploit that made them invisible: They could see, move, and shoot as normal, but couldn't be seen by others. This wasn't a lot of fun for most players, as you can imagine, and Raven grounded the choppers until it could figure out what was going on.
It took more than three months, but the buzzbirds finally returned to action in yesterday's Season Two Reloaded update. Unfortunately, it soon became apparent that Raven was being a little over-optimistic about having fixed the problem, as players almost immediately began reporting that the invisibility glitch was back, too.

In survival game Icarus, corrupted terraforming leads to an 'interstellar gold rush'

Thirty trillion miles from Earth, the planet Icarus underwent a terraforming effort meant to create a habitable new paradise for human life. It didn't work out. The terraforming system failed due to the reaction of exotic resources hidden on the planet, resulting in an environment that's extremely toxic to humans. Whoops.

Hearthstone hotfix will stop sneaky Shamans from exploiting spell damage totems
https://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstone-hotfix-will-stop-sneaky-shamans-from-exploiting-spell-damage-totems/
Hearthstone's latest expansion went live earlier this week, and it's fair to say I've been having a lot of fun with Forged in the Barrens. Yes, there are some decks which currently feel oppressively strong—No Minion Mage and Secret Paladin in particular, not to mention those pesky Watch Posts—but as is often the case around annual set rotation, the freshness from so many old cards leaving Standard is keeping me queuing.

You'll have to forgive me for leaving the name of this game about coordinating a raid in an MMO you've never played before out of the headline. I had to, because the name of the game is My Older Sister Left The Computer So I Got On And Found Myself Trying To Coordinate A Raid In A Game And I Don't Play MMO's. Update: It's back on sale! As this game's creator explained on Twitter, what started as a joke about false scarcity became an example of it. It's $US2 and available on itch.io.

DLSS is great, im probably too old to see the "drawback" vs native 4k in motion but my ears notice the fans not going fully overdrive

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

In screenshots maybe, but I doubt most of us are really able to notice the difference while actually playing the game.

DLSS has some minor disadvantages and some minor advantages in comparison to native resolution.

Especially in motion, the advantages predominate in most games... you lose a bit of sharpness, but you also lose annoying jaggies and aliasing.

[Rumour] Latest AMD CPU Roadmap

https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/mjst0p/latest_amd_cpu_roadmap/

There's some additional "leak" about RDNA 3 as well. Take it with a grain of salt:

"RDNA3: Q3 2022

  • Official roadmap: 50% better performance/watt

  • Actual improvement: better than 50%"

Now the biggest question for me is how it does with Ray Tracing as well as how good is AMD's Super Resolution. We have been seeing quite a number of Major Titles having Ray Tracing support over the past year and it will continue to grow. And thanks to how easy it is to integrate DLSS, quite a number of Ray Tracing and Raster only games are getting it too. Hopefully AMD has major advances in both because Ray Tracing Ultra makes Raster Ultra look like Medium while DLSS helps quite a lot with maintaining it's performance at reasonable framrates. AMD needs a counter to Nvidia's One Two Punch!
