I totally would, if their games actually ran with better hw down the line. I tried running FC3 at 1440p the other day and my PC was having none of that, and yet it handles plenty of good ports really well, just not Ubisoft games and other bad ports from other publishers.

It's pointless to look good if you cannot run it well enough. It's like an unobtainable thing, that turns into a hopeless dream, to then be abandoned and forgotten, and I don't think anyone here would want that.

It'd be stellar if they looked and played the part, rather than looked the part, as it would make them stand head above shoulders over their competition. Ubisoft should want to make their games perform and look good, but they don't, and well, I kinda see why, but I still hate them for it.

The results have appeared simultaneously at two different forums. AMD flagship Ryzen 9 5950X, which is a 16-core and 32-thread CPU has allegedly scored 690.2 points in a single-threaded benchmark and 13306.5 points in multi-threaded. For comparison, the Intel Core i9-10900K, which is an 10-core CPU scores 584 and 7389 points respectively.

Meanwhile, the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X has allegedly scored 650 single-core and 6593 points in a multi-threaded benchmark.

Kopite7kimi, a leaker better known for revealing details on GeForce RTX Ampere series months in advance is now reporting on a new SKU that would fill the (already narrow) gap between GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 SKUs.

The graphics card would allegedly feature 9984 CUDA cores, 1280 cores more than RTX 3080. Kopite reports that the GPU variant on this SKU is likely the GA102-250. The memory configuration would also change to a 384-bit bus (compared to 320-bit on RTX 3080). A wider bus means that the card will likely feature a capacity of either 12 GB or 24 GB (same as RTX 3090).

Remember to read all the above with a pinch of salt.

3070 reviews are out and... Wow it's actually quite impressive! I thought it would be slower than the 2080 Ti for sure by a good margin but it's largely able to keep up and even beat it by a very small margin depending on the game.

It's Destiny 2 'vidoc' day, meaning Bungie has released a chunky video explainer rounding up upcoming expansion Beyond Light's main features and attractions. Much of it touches on things we've already seen: Europa and the tease of secrets hiding underneath the ice; new exotic weapons and armour pieces; the new Stasis subclass that will let you freeze and shatter your enemies; and the new antagonist, the Fallen leader Eramis, who wields Stasis powers along with her lieutenants. It also reveals a couple of things that we didn't, like that the sound of the ice we'll be slinging was sourced from, among other things, a rumbly tummy and a breast pump.

3070 seems like a solid card. Just around a 2080Ti for $500, this is the best value Ampere card atm. Unil 3070ti at $600. Interested to see how AMD will price 6800 (not XT).

The biggest annoyance is the lack of 16/20GB rumored models. Now they were rumored so technically never confirmed but man. If Nvidia does release a 3080 Ti with 12GB and 3070 Ti with 10GB... I'll have to do a Solid F for those fap worthy Vram capacities.

Also it turns out that 3090 gives little to no frame rate improvement in Starcraft 2 compared to a 1080 in case anyone was wondering
