Personally I wish Nvidia put in more Vram

Which is why I think I'm gonna wait for the 3080ti, personally. Peace of mind for the card's longevity as much as anything else.

But muh Cyberpunk

Can anyone post a short summary?

But there will be some exceptions as there are now.

Flight Sim at 4k for example can use 9GB of Vram if not more depending on the location. ID Tech engines love Vram as well since you can see significant differences between GPUs that have 8GB and GPUs that have 10GB or more but only if you are really pushing those framerates. Generally speaking, majority of the games should get a lot more efficient with Vram.

It's more likely you will run into a GPU rendering bottleneck before Vram bottleneck.

DLSS can also significantly decrease Vram usage when playing at high resolutions like 8k.

Yeah, I'm not worried about 10 GB VRAM in the next 2 - 3 years, especially since I don't buy games at full price = at day one.

I still have sooooo many 2015 - 2020 games to play which I can't max out with my GTX 1070 and which will have no problem with 10 GB VRAM.

And they will all run so much better with a $700 RTX3080 10GB than a $700 RTX3070 16GB.

This was the Big Navi card tease from quite a while back wasn't it?

Think a 12 pin PCIe connector fits in that single plug in slot?

Yes, that was the tease from a while ago, but I have to say that, at least to me, that slot looks big enough for 2x 8-pin power connectors.

Looks like ASUS and Gigabyte will launch more 30X0 cards than the ones they've already announced, with ASUS bringing back the TURBO cards, that usually used blower coolers, and Gigabyte also having a TURBO series and a watercooled card as well.

Rumored Price for Big Navi is $549.

Well, duh. You gotta aggressively undercut the price if you aggressively undercut the performance and features :P

This is the leak I believe in:

To expand on that:

Navi21: 384-bit bus, 12/24GB Gddr6 Vram, 80CU, 505mm2
Navi22: 256-bit bus, 8/16GB Gddr6 Vram, 60CU, 340mm2
Navi23: 192-bit bus, 6GB Gddr6 Vram, 40CU, 240mm2

I think the leakers has been mix/matching navi21 and navi22, that's why we gotten wierd leaks like big navi will have 12GB and 16GB Vram. If coreteks leak is legit which you link leads to, I think it's the Navi22.

6x master league achiever in starcraft2

Beaten Sigrun on God of war mode

Beaten DOOM ultra-nightmare with NO endless ammo-rune, 2x super shotgun and no decoys on ps4 pro.

1-0 against Grubby in Wc3 frozen throne ladder!!

So I'm assuming the 3080 will be about 2.3 times faster than my 1080 in 4K, ignoring DLSS and RTX. Sounds like I will have to turn down a lot of settings to get consistent 4k120 in most games unless I go 3090.

And it looks like I will have to have stable FPS because it seems the LG TVs have issues with VRR.
