Sounds fine to me, there's a fucking huge library of awesome games.
Real hell would be only CDPR or Epic games.

So not only do you get an ARM cpu, you also get their horrible butterfly keyboard that is known to fail pretty easily. Least it's cheaper?

I sure hope this is true cause we need some competition! Remember, GA 104 = 3070, GA102 = 3080/3090 |
So, the 3070 can't touch the Big Navi? Even if Big Navi can't beat the 3090, there's a decent chance it would be comparable to a 3080 then - potentially at a much cheaper price. I'm expecting 600-700€ for Big Navi but ~1000€ for the 3080
Also, there's a chance that AMD could take over the efficiency lead, which would get much more interesting in future gaming laptops.

Personally I think they will be very comparable in pricing similar to how Turing was vs Navi. Big Navi will be cheaper no doubt but I highly doubt it will be that much cheaper if the performance is actually there. If there's one thing the Xbox hot chips showed us, is that both AMD and Nvidia are gonna be expensive.
Worst case, Nvidia will be initially cocky with their pricing and then lower it when RDNA 2 gets announced.

You know all too well that making fun of EA is the joke itself. That said you're comparing a big publisher with basically two developers.

The highest I can see the 3080 is 800 €, 100 € more than the 2080 at launch. More than that would be a suicide.

Well, with 1400€ for the 3090, the gap would be too big to the 3080 with just 800€. Though to be fair, the 1000€ was meant for the 20GB version, as I expect Big Navi to come with 16GB of VRAM.

The top of the line card always sports en extra premium in their price just for being the best of the best. It's always been like that.
And you're forgetting about the price gap between the 3080 and the 3070, and then the one between the 3070 and the 3060. Nvidia also has to keep that in mind to avoid massive gaps between their cards that could be used against them.

If that was true, then the 3090 would not be 1400€, which is quite the price hike over the 2080Ti already. And I'm sure the rest will follow suit to some degree.

As a reminder, no one actually knows the pricing. In the past, when we had "pricing leaks," most if not all of them have been wrong. For better or for worse.
