Ok, so as you all may remember, last week there was the PC Gaming Show, that generated so many news that I had to post them in an unusual way. Viv commented, in a joking way, that I should take it easier and reduce the quantity of news I post.

Well, I won't hand pick the "most interesting" articles because, let's be honest, there are a lot of genres and sub-genres and we all have different tastes in gaming. It would be impossible to do so without leaving some of you disappointed. It's not a viable solution.

But we can narrow down what articles you're most interested in and which ones don't interest you, but I need your help. The following are the articles I post and the ones I don't:

+Articles I post:

  • Sales & player count numbers
  • Store deals and discounts
  • Store related changes/updates
  • Engine related news
  • Emulators
  • Mods & fan projects
  • Most game related info: announcements, trailers/gameplay videos, release dates, delays, etc
  • Denuvo related news, both new versions of it, games that use it and games that remove it

+Articles I don't post:

  • Fan remakes that aren't and won't be available to download
  • News concerning subscription based services like GamePass. This is about PC games/gaming, and that doesn't meed PC to work.
  • eSports and competitions
  • Non gaming related news. I'm looking at you, PC Gamer with your TV shows and board games articles

News regarding screenshots need a special mention because I tend to only post them when there are little news.

Well, I'd be grateful if you let me know what you would change.

Thanks in advance.

  • Store deals and discounts
  • Store related changes/updates
  • Emulators
  • Mods & fan projects
  • Most game related info: announcements, trailers/gameplay videos, release dates, delays, etc

Keep up the great work!

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

The Tuesday news:

Deus Ex Multiplayer CDX patch released, improves netcode & hit detection, fixes exploits & more
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/deus-ex-multiplayer-cdx-patch-released-improves-netcode-hit-detection-fixes-exploits-more/
Deus Ex fans, here is something really special for you today. Cozmo and a team of modders have released Project CDX Version 1.0 for Deus Ex Multiplayer. This is perhaps the best way to celebrate Deus Ex’s twentieth anniversary, and we strongly suggest downloading.
CDX is a huge mod for Deus Ex Multiplayer. It features improved netcode and hit detection, fixes many exploits, bugs and gameplay problems, and introduces a lot of important features that were simply missing from the game. It also makes it easier than ever to create mods and custom gamemodes.
(...)
According to the team, the installation process for Deus Ex Multiplayer CDX is quite easy. All you have to do is dump all the .u files into your DeusEx/System folder. Then, you’ll have to add ServerPackages=CDX_100 to that section in your DeusEx.ini, and ServerActors=CDX_100.ANNAMutator above it. And that’s it.
>> Nice way to celebrate cuch anniversary. You can download this mod from here.

This mod adds 10 fully functional firearms/guns to The Witcher 3
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/this-mod-adds-10-fully-functional-firearms-guns-to-the-witcher-3/
Modder ‘Roenaxx’ has released a pretty cool mod for The Witcher 3. As its title suggests, Firearms adds 10 fully functional firearms/guns as an alternative ranged weapon to the game. Thus, we strongly suggest downloading and using it for your second or third playthrough.
Going into more details, Firearms has been designed to offer a different combat style, allowing you to use your ranged weapon for damage.
This guns mod for The Witcher 3 adds a variety of flintlock pistols as a ranged weapon alternative for crossbows. There are currently 10 guns available and 7 types of ammunition at 3 tiers; that’s 21 total & 27 if you include silver bullets.
It’s also worth noting that this mod is compatible with New Game+ and Ghost Mode. Moreover, it is compatible with The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition. Unfortunately, the modder did not reveal whether it’s also compatible with The Witcher 3 Redux.
>> You can get it from Nexus Mods.

Last month, Cthulhu joined the roster, but a more surprising addition is on its way: Avatar: The Last Airbender characters.

In response to a tweet about the interview, Twitter user Karissa described her experiences with Avellone at a convention, including both personal interactions and an account of his behavior toward others.

Psychedelic platformer Spinch looks like a trip

The last time we wrote about Spinch, back in 2018, we were expecting to get our hands on it that summer. That never panned out, but we've now got a new release date to look forward to, September 3, and a weird trailer to tide us over until then.

Intel Alder Lake rumours:

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

We'll see if that shits pays off for Apple of not. Time will tell.

The Alder Lake rumors sound good, specially the patch of the numerous security holes. But the 10nm++ part... it ended up being a joke with 14nm and it will also become a joke for 10,

What I don't get is the big.Little configuration if much of the lineup will only have the big cores, but maybe they'll use a regular configuration for PC and enterprise products and bring the Atom ones for the laptop parts, where the power saved will be better recieved.
