In an ideal world (meaning I say this knowing it will never happen) I'd like to see Sony make a console partnership with Nintendo and bundle the PS4 with the Wii U. Or at least update the firmware so people who buy both can take advantage of all the hardware involved.
Think about it: the Wii U gets access to the PS4's 500 GB hard drive, the PS4 gets access to the Wii U's gamepad like it's an optional accessory (like the PS eye) AND can treat the Wii U like a USB 2.0 hub, the combination will play 90%+ of this gen's games, and all you have to do is furnish gamers with a USB cable to connect the consoles and update the firmware.
While I'm dreaming, I'd like a pony.... |
lol the difference between the 3g and wifi in terms of cost to produce is almost nothing.
They could do 499, assuming that users will also have to buy ps+, and another memory card.
Sure they could do 559$ or 599$ but that's too big of a difference to the xb1 price.
Seriously, if they could get a vita and a ps4 into users hands for the same price equivalent as an xbox1, it would be a huge feat.
559$ is how much an xb1 plus a year of live will cost.
Remember that it will also be the holidays. It's not unthinkable that we could be seeing a 499$ ps4+vita, when some retailers like walmart and target give 100$ coupons for buying 360s. A 99$ coupon built into a bundle would make a ps4+vita for 499$
