I made a decent build last year for about $500 using newegg.com I'd say try there and see if you can get better prices/parts

Rosewill is not that bad, but Corsair is better.

From my experience the best brands are Silver Stone, Seasonic, Corsair(Some PSUs are just rebranded Seasonic's if I remember correctly), Antec. Good but not great Thermaltake, Rosewill, NZXT(very good product so far, but needs more time)

Corsair use a mix of hardware in their PSU's like Channel Well, Seasonic and Flextronics.

Also, if I was going to use Antec it would only be the Neo Eco's, great budget supplies that use Seasonic and Channel Well designs.
Thermaltake, Rosewill and NZXT you couldn't pay me to use. :P

Didnt know that, thanks.

I'm using a NZXT right now, good so far, pretty silent but its just a few months old. I know one of the first rules is dont go cheap on PSU but in my country its not an easy thing to do, very little options to choose from and very very expensive from what they are. I bought mine for 150$, I wanted a Corsair but it costed double :( someday I hope to be able to buy something better
