There is one thing that needs to happen first.
Centralised Nintendo Accounts. ATM if you import a game form EUROPE for example and you live in Australia (both PAL region), you need to signup to a European nintendo account.
When your console goes FUBAR they cant fix it or copy your stuff across because of you having two accounts in two regions.
