Dude, everything at the right time, ok? We will not change the country so I can pre-order a freaking video game. Believe me, I am not the reason Brazil is the way it is, I read, I am gentle while driving, work hard, help my fellow human beings, do not watch soccer, do not even take drugs and NEVER stole or did anything wrong to cause harm to others.

That's exactly why Brazil won't change, again because of people like you who waste time complaining that the price of consoles are expensive instead of directly attack those who are responsible and that you discretely mentionned : the government.

Well, I don´t vote for these corrupt idiots, and I do what I can to change stuff, I just signed a petition to avoid PEC 37, which is a law that takes away power from a institution we call Ministério Público, I also went to protests about it.

My point is that Sony.br let MS.br to make the first move. If the negotiations with the government bare fruits, I will apologize, with a thread, no less. But I think that they will not and Sony.br is just wasting time.

Also, I did not complaing about the price, I know it will be high and THAT IS NOT SONY.BR´S FAULT, it is Brazil´s fault. I am mad that they refuse to let me pre-order the brazilian version of the console, which I wanted to do JUST TO SUPPORT THEIR moronic ass in the first place, JUST THAT.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Aren't Brazilians importing their consoles by themselves because it's too expansive anyway to buy at retail over there

Yes. But, I would like to HAVE THE OPTION of supporting the brazilian branch, which Sony.br denies me when they refuse to have pre-orders.

Sony Brazil is acting like a baby that is so stupid that it refuses to eat the food you try to give them. They just starve and die because of his own stupidity.

Open the pre-orders, let me buy the console, PUT THE SHOW ON THE ROAD!

Sony is a loving company and they don't want you to pay to much for your ps4 you should be tanking them :P

Sony drops the ball in Brazil, Microsoft.br opens pre-orders for Xbox One in all major brazilian retailers, Sony refuses to even anounce the brazilian PS4 price.

It started today: If you log into the major retailers sites in Brazil you can pre-order a Xbox One for the (high) price of R$ 2199 (1000 U$D), which is a normal price for Brazil since we have the highest taxes in the world (and the worst and most corrupt politicians).

Anyways, at the same time, Sony.br REFUSES to anounce a price, a launch date or even to allow pre-orders on the PS4. I talked to them by e-mail, chat, comments and even hotline, and they ignored me completelly:  We have nothing to anounce, dear costumer.

Ok them, I will play ball, FUCK YOU SONY BRAZIL. I will import my PS4 from Amazon and you guys can just go on as the most incompetent branch of Sony worldwide.

xboxone isn't manufactured in Brazil, that's why it's 995$

PS4 reportedly IS manufactured in Brazil, so it should be really cheap. Don't even sweat it.

I know, but like all loving people in the world, they will get screwed by the bad guys, who are taking pre-orders.

I have a lot of friends pre-ordering ps4 in foreign sites like amazon.com. If they announce a great deal for Brazil, you always have the chance of canceling the pre-order and buying it in a local store instead.

You will use your angry against Sony buying a PS4, nice! (just kidding)

Damn, that's a lot of coin for a machine. What's the average paycheck common folks take home?

Average paycheck is 700 U$D, around R$ 1500.

I make 2500 U$D a month, around R$ 5300.

Everything here is expensive as fuck, we have what I call a "Corruption Tax", everything is 50% more expensive so the politicians can have swimming pools and silicone whores.

Time for a civil war in this shit country.

Is that before or after income tax?

Also I wonder, the Brazilian members we have here on VGC, they're typically upper class, or at least higher middle-class, aren't they?

PS4 will be manufactured here in Manaus, I asked there. But they don't know when.
