Here's the trouble: the amount of people interested in being able to play their PS4 games anywhere is going to be only a subset of the PS4 userbase. This means that beyond being able to sell the PS4 itself, the PS4's library would have to grow yet that much stronger to convince people to buy both a PS4 and a Vita (if their only interest in the Vita was as a PS4 remote-station), so it will take a while for the PS4 to become compelling enough to incentivize a Vita purchase on top of that, and the PS4 has still yet to even release.
