Forums - Sony - More ps4 surprises/announcements incoming at gamescon and some info for Europe

i still hope till this day heavenly sword will get a sequel and hopefully Uncharted 4 gets announced for maybe 2014 release..

Around the Network

Vita not only need's more it need's some big game announcement.

after all the Next gen at E3 it seems Vita was left out, hopefully Gamscom see's Vita get some love.

Feels like PSP all over again that when ps3 surfaced psp got ignored..

When is the gamescom this year?

Well Naughty Dog has 2 dev teams now. Team "Not The Last of Us" has got to be working on an early PS4 title. Uncharted 4 maybe?

I'd like to see a Sully: the early years game, perhaps for PSV? Call it Unsullied.

Hopefully SSM shows their game then. I don't expect Naughty Dog to go till VGAs.

Around the Network

- Something from Media Molecule is likely to appear in this show

- The other IP that GG is working on is also a good bet

- Wonderbook 2 ?

Didn't know Gordon Ramsey worked for Sony.

It's just that simple.

Exclusives and Gaikai. Calling it now.

I hope to god there is at least 1 or 2 more launch day exclusives in the pipeline because Xbone is really looking more appealing at this point for a day one purchase.

If they do announce more day one titles I expect them to utilise the camera.

It doesn't really make sense to have too many AAA titles at launch because:

1. It probably won't effect sales, supply is limted. They'd be better off saving it for Q1 to keep demand up.

2.They'll only cannablalise their own 1st party sales. Killzone, Knack and Driveclub are gonna have a hard enough time making their money back on such small userbase and strong competition from 3rd parties. They don't need another game to splinter their sales even further.

Which games from the E3 conference will be launch titles on the Xbone?

OT. Yep, not surprised here, given the amount of games Sony has in the works, they have to divide them to keep the momentum. And Gamescom was really strong from Sony regarding game announcements in the recent years, while their competition even skipped some shows.

Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse in my opinion is a stronger lineup than Killzone (although the best looking game imo) Drive Club and Knack, which is why I'm hoping Sony announces some new near launch exclusive releases or as I stated previously 1 or 2 more exclusives on launch day.
