- DRM stands for Digital Rights Management.
- It started out on the PC first and is slowly been implemented into the home console with the XBOX ONE the first console to take the plunge.
- People are starting to be a bit out of touch, it’s 2013 and who in the right mind is going to purchase a console that will set you back either £349 or £429 and not have an internet connection?
- More mainstream games starting to add some sort of multi-player implemented into the single-player experience, o if you don’t have an internet connection you may be missing out on some of the best games in 3-4 years.
- Third Parties could at any time implement DRM into their own games on PS4.
- DRM will become common in the next 3-4 years.
- If you think Sony will not implement DRM, then you are hugely underestimating the way business works.
