Forums - Nintendo - Gamers, if you want online for Super Mario3D World let them know on Miiverse!!!!

http://mynintendonews.com/2013/06/15/super-mario-3d-world-excludes-online-multiplayer/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

I can understand their aiming for the family get together crowd and I'm find with that, it what made the New Super Mario Bros. series a success, but what about guys like me. Guys who have friends across the globe, this is why I want online, so I can play online with my friends who live in different states.

If you want an online option, let Nintendo know by Twitter and Miiverse. It work for Earthbound, bound to work again.

(Sorry if I sound whiney)

I doubt that the Mario gameplay can be done over the internet. It would probably lag to the point where people feel there might be something wrong with the controls itself.

And that's awfull for a Mario game. Mario is gameplay afterall.

FPS and RTS are played competitively over the internet for cash prizes. If it's good enough for someone who makes a living from it, it's good enough for most players.

I'd say, atleast make it optional Nintendo... Let the gamers see if its a wise idea.

How many fast and responsive platformers do you know where that happens? FPS and RTS can work fine with some lag.

But  those are games where the online actually works well.  As long as you're running a good connection.  Most Nintendo games your connection doesn't matter.  They're still running poorly.  Plus, even with poorly done online, can you think of a RTS game that hasn't ran well?   I can't.

I'm buying a Wii U for Super Smash Bros so I hope the online works well on this game.

What do you mean by " the online actually works well" and " They're still running poorly"? The type of game has nothing to do with whether low-latency offline can be achieved.

If it have online, I'll bet it'll have better sales.

possibly. On-line games sell very well

TBH at least 2player Online should be implemented

2 players on each console for a total of 4 players would also be nice.

No need for 4 people on 4 consoles tho.
