Yeah, I was just there and asked about that. They'll match price for games and that's it for the new consoles anyway. Not that it matters really for a console launch I suppose. Did you pay the full $88?

I will probably will pay arround 600$ plus shipping and taxes here in Venezuela, and That's if I find some cheap $, if not, will end paying tree times that (or more)... PS3 games are about 300$ now :)

And Australians complain!

I got 1 for $304. A lot of people that i know are paying less that $250 due to trade in credit. The PS4 will probably be the cheapest console to get ever. If people are smart and they take advantage of trade in/incentive programs available at Bestbuy, Gamestop, and Amazon they will easily get a PS4 for a lot less than MSRP.
Todays trade in programs are way better than they were 7 years ago, in fact, they are great!!!!.

Our dollar has reached parity or close to for years yet the X1 will launch here for $100 more and the PS4 is $150 more, we're genuinely being ripped off. Yours is just adjusted. $300 Venezuelan Bolívar equals less than $50 USD, you're actually getting a discount... Wtf Sony and MS!

But Australia is listed as a European region for PlayStation so that's why you pay a lot more... look at the brigth side You prices could be paired to japanese market's... There games and consoles are really a luxury...
