I remember going to pick up a day one PS3 with my mate, he spent about $1200. I ended up spending $800 on my 360 it;s first holiday season, the Xbox One and PS4 are atleast somewhat fair. I've paid for my X1 at EB too!! You getting any games?

Holy shit! I'm yet to pre-order any game. The placeholders are still $100-120 and even though I doubt very much they'll cost that much I'm still cautious. I'll get Forza, Destiny and probably one other game. The placeholders at Harvey Norman are $88. Keeps me optimistic.

Yeah, I was just there and asked about that. They'll match price for games and that's it for the new consoles anyway. Not that it matters really for a console launch I suppose. Did you pay the full $88?
