If you have to pay PS+ for a F2P game then it is not free... I think it is common sense... to be F2P you need to play withou pay nothing.

No Shuhei specifically says you can play DCU without needing a ps+ sub.

Any f2p is free. An mmo, though (asked specifically because you're already paying for it) will still need ps+, which is kinda sucky.

So there's some good news and bad news. One, is that you can play f2p games comepletely for free as intended, and the bad news is that you have to pay both the MMO sub and the ps+ sub to play online.

That being said, I believe that there is at least one subbed pay to play mmo that includes a month of whatever service you require along with your sub cost. ie; you buy a month of ff14 and you also get a month of ps+, and the price is the normal price, not a combined price.

They said at E3 you need PS+ to play online on the PS4 this is why I find that weird

But you kill the Free To Play pourpose for that... so F2P needs to be F2P.

I agree... it's weird to pay two subscription... Sony says it will be open to publisher but I can't see any published doing that.

MS doesn't require you to have Gold to play a paid MMO like FFXI or PSU when it was around, I can't see Sony requiring a PS+ subscription for premium MMO's on PS4.
