Well the Wii U has got the following Multi-platform AAA games confirmed for upcoming release:

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Watch Dogs
Project CARS
Batman: Arkham Origins
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut

Add to that a likely Call of Duty: Ghosts port as well, it aren't that bad. Still way behind the third party offering on the Xbox/PS. But still a lot better than the support the Wii received for AAA third party games. Who to say once the Wii U user base increases that we will see a lot more third party support in future.

And none of them are next-gen exclusives either. So I guess it was easy to port the PS3/360 versions.

To be fair not all of the games listed in the opening post are not really true exclusive to the next generation of consoles either. As a lot of them coming out on the Xbox360/Ps3.

I do - I would love if I was able to buy just WiiU and much later on in the cycle PS4...this way, I'm skipping on way too many good 3rd party games if I don't have additional platform from the start, and that means I have to part with more cash than I intended too...or just buy WiiU much later than I wanted too, which put's less money in Nintendo pockets...not good for anybody really.

That's why I lament so often about SuperWii (around 1/2 the power of PS4 (instead of 1/8), same price as WIiU, no GamePad, Wiimote and Pro Controller as default), and missed chance for Ninty to have good 1st/3rd party console.

bolded: you can't be taken seriously by saying such ridiculous things. ps4 isn't even 8x the x360 power, let alone wii u wich is much better than 360.

Check you're facts before accusing other people, cause at the end it's you who's ending up being ridiculous

It was known for quite some time by those who follow rumors, and know a thing or two about hardware, that XOne is some 8x 360 (which MS confirmed after XOne reveal). PS4 is 1.5x of XOne, so that makes it 12x 360.

WiiU is some 1.6x 360, if it has 320 shader GPU inside, and we're generous with assumption that EDRAM makes up enough for slow memory bus. If it's only 160 shader part inside, we're looking at 1.3x of XBox. So yeah, PS4 IS anywhere between 7-9x of WiiU...for sake of simplifying things I tend to put the average, which is....ta-da...8

Please, don't bother replying, I don't have either time or energy for the n-th time to explain these things, dig through threads on the forum, and you will find all your answers.

I won't reply, I'll quote. NO matter how much you whine and cry, Wii u is still quite superior than ps360 and not that much behind ps4/xcrapone. talking about your imaginary wii u specs as if they're fact it's pointless.

Ubisoft's using the 8th-gen (can we please stop using the tired buzzword "next-gen"?) engine for Wii U Watch Dogs.

I was going to come in and lock this, but it doesn't seem to have degraded as such quite yet.

For now.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

My time here at Vgchartz has stressed me out. Can we stop the Nintendo bolstering/joaning please? We know that they aren't getting these games. WE KNOW. But really, think... who buys a Nintendo to play FPS or gritty 3rd person games? What was the last million seller of said genres that was on a Nintendo? Not even on DS guys... did these genres sell well.

The only reason this has happened is because the Wii U is underpowered but extremely innovative. When most people buy a Nintendo they don't think "Good God I'm getting Call of Duty on my Wii" no, it don't work that way. What sells on Nintendo is: Nintendo, Sega, and Ubisoft software. Yeah, Nintendo's third party console support sucks but is that really that much of a surprise to you that you have to post it? Nintendo's strong 3rd party support for consoles hasn't seen the glory days since the Super Nintendo. Handheld is fine, want me to post the exclusives 3DS is getting that Vita isn't? I know that is petty but is it any different from what's going on here? Iwata isn't crying just yet and don't expect his lacrimal glands to swell anytime soon.

You know I hate it.. everybody is quick to show what third party support Nintendo won't have.. when they know Nintendo fans buy the consoles mainly for Nintendo games.. hell gamers in general.. admit they like Nintendo games.. and say they own the console.. but only for the exclusives.. then they b---h and moan that Nintendo isn't getting any games because they have other systems for third party games.. well guess what.. your part of the problem .. if you would actually buy third party games on a Nintendo system.. they would get good games.. yeah so what if Nintendo does not have the best graphics.. you want good games.. other than first party.. all of you need to start buying third party titles.. otherwise you need to be quite and except the fact that there is going to be few if any released on your system.. or if they are.. they are just cheap ports..

Nintendo Wii by generations...

1. Wii

2. Wii U

3. Wii O U

Predictions made by gamers concerning the current Nintendo line up of games.

Pikmen 3= Little Bump to nothing. (Got Little Bump)

Wind Waker HD= Won't sell anything (The explosion happened here and at one time 4 Wii U games was in the Amazon top 100)

Super Mario 3D World= Won't help at all looks cheap. (Currently the most sought after Wii U game and continuing the Wii U increase.)

I agree w you re Nintendo fans complaining about developers ignoring the Wii U/Nintendo, then saying they would not buy their games on Nintendo consoles (if at all) anyway.

I can t speak for others but we are a 1 console household. I purchased a Wii for my then 4 year old son 3 years ago- Since it was later in the Wii's lifespan, there were plenty of games to play even though Ninty started to slow down on support for the Wii a year or 2 after I bought it (as did 3rd parties)

When the Wii U was announced there had already been plenty of complaints re no 3rd party support for the Wi and complaints that Nintendo itself had quit supporting the Wii as well- (presumably to get software ready for the Wii U).

Nintendo was very insistent they would not let the Wii U be the victim of a software drought (as had happened w the 3DS). They were also adamant they would position the Wii U to have strong 3rd party support. Based on our Families good experience w the Wii, Nintendo s own words and Nintendo having advertised/referred to its unprecedented # of launch titles for the Wii U as well ( still factoring a healthy margin of error seeing as how they were trying to launch their console) I purchased the Wii U at launch).

As we all know, as soon as the holiday sales season came to an end Nintendo began to announced substantial delays in many launch games, Sales tanked and 3rd party support understandably evaporated- If Nintendo was not going to support its own console at launch- why in the world would a 3rd party developer/publisher support it.

Obviously Nintendo made other mistakes re the Wii U launch but the bottom line is Nintendo is responsible for the commitments it made to its fans and anyone who purchased a Wii U during launch- They are the source of expectations re the Wii U. THey are the reason the Wii U failed to meet those expectations to date. They have no one to blame but themselves.

It is either naïve and/or insincere to put any blame on 3rd party developers/publishers and it is a mistake assumption to think most people who purchased a Wii U did so w the intent that it would be a 2ndary console primarily for the purpose of 1st and 2nd party games. I can t imagine too many people who intend to buy the Wii U primarily for 1st party games would have purchased 1 yet due to a lack of those games through at least late 2013.

Ooooh! I love threads like this that are only created to rub something in other peoples faces. Great work!

You should check out my thread about Million sellers for the Vita here :

don't care about the shooters, but KH3 and FF15?

FCK, anyway, I won't make the same mistake and get the Ps4 just for 2 games, WiiU and Nintendo games are more than enough... :)

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
