I would argue that VGC still has a decent community in comparison to say N4G or YouTube and as the new gen settles in, people will be more engaged to discuss the sales and possibilities that it entails.


I cant speak for N4G as I dont visit that site but youtube is garbage in the comment section lol

Who cares if he prefers one console over the other?

this idea that someone is instantly an "enemy" and deserves to be "called out" over his personal preference is frankly childish and is nothing more than an example of everything that's going wrong with the general gaming culture.

No one cares, really.

But jay acts like he doesn't prefer any console over the other. But his threads and posts tell a different story.

Some people hate people who have a fake persona. That's why he gets "called out" a lot. Not saying jay has a fake persona, though.

It's the same for MS fans.

 

in fact if you believed forums you would think its Pro Sony or die at the moment. If nothing else Sony fans know how to get excited for their console of choice.

People do care though apparently.

at the moment this site is literally 95% pro Sony and anyone who prefers anything else is instantly ganged up on.

ive been here since 07 when you count my first year lurking and it has never been this bad.

YouTube is a particularity bad place for trying to have any kind of civil discussions its on a level all its own really. Unless you count places like 4chan (smh).

The sony fans have been nice to ninty fans in recent times, but i can't say the same for the Xbox One.

Personally, the most disturbing revelation is how whinny and negative certain nintendo fans have been.
