As we have had many users leave (Including very active) in the last month to the embarrassing behavior of VGC I am curious on the users who are tired of VGC and hopes for a better community?  

What is that supposed to mean? Are you saying we aren't good enough?

I'm trying to somehow convince myself to stay here as I feel the general community has gone to complete trash and I'm doing my best to bring civilized conversation

That being said the amount of.......enthusiastic fans that do nothing but troll and destroy any meaningful conversation seems at an all time high.

No idea if Ill stay or not but since I'm such a long time member here I almost think I owe it to the community to help out.

Pretty much all big gaming sites seem to be worse off than VGC is. If all the good members leave, this site could end up as another N4G.

These past few days have shown the hypocrisy and the negative attitude of certain users. It is getting unbearable now. Can't have a decent constructive discussion here without threads being derailed with all the negativity. E3 was once a time where gamers can enjoy the latest announced games, those days are long gone.

It will calm down now all new consoles have been shown and E3 ends, but I expect the fanboy wars to flare up again over the holidays once the PS4 and X1 launch and they battle for sales numbers.

Who cares if he prefers one console over the other?

this idea that someone is instantly an "enemy" and deserves to be "called out" over his personal preference is frankly childish and is nothing more than an example of everything that's going wrong with the general gaming culture.

I am probably not the best user to ask around here; however I will say many have left partly due to us being in a transition from one console gen to the next and that many of the longtime members are getting older now with more life responsibilities.

I would argue that VGC still has a decent community in comparison to say N4G or YouTube and as the new gen settles in, people will be more engaged to discuss the sales and possibilities that it entails.
