No, it won't be smart to want the competition gone. Imagine if Sony went out of business last gen. M$ could've really pulled this off.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Nope don't want them out of the industry from a gamers stand point.. (Exclusives etc.) But I do want them to learn a very hard lesson..(Like Sony did) it's time for a little humility. (Course to be fair I am not sure if I should blame Microsoft or EA and developers.. or perhaps both for the crap they are pulling)

Nintendo Wii by generations...

1. Wii

2. Wii U

3. Wii O U

Predictions made by gamers concerning the current Nintendo line up of games.

Pikmen 3= Little Bump to nothing. (Got Little Bump)

Wind Waker HD= Won't sell anything (The explosion happened here and at one time 4 Wii U games was in the Amazon top 100)

Super Mario 3D World= Won't help at all looks cheap. (Currently the most sought after Wii U game and continuing the Wii U increase.)

MS needs to go away because they're out of touch with the market and they will never get the true love from the masses. Their fans will always be a suffering minority and punched at.

Why not let the actual market decide if they want Microsoft to exist? Minority or not, it's a stretch to say their fans are suffering if they decided to purchase their product. If a sufficient amount of consumers are happy with Microsoft's offerings and Microsoft is making money, then why would you want to end this?

I simply feel bad for the Xbox fans. As a former fan I know how difficult their situation is. So it's better that they come out of their suffering and switch to a stronger player.

I still have a problem with the over-enthusiasm and over-confidence of Sony fans (even though I like the Playstation myself) and that's why I need a stronger opponent (than MS) to humble them.

What a strange man you are

Maybe we should let the "market decide" if crack should exist or not... If the consumers are happy with the product why should it be illegal... /sarcasm

Sorry I should say that MS and subsidiaries are no where near as bad as crack, but they may be getting close...

I honestly would have answered no because I think competition is good for the industry.

But after the recent turn of events, I would have to say that I want M$ out of the gaming industry, pronto. They were THIS close to pulling us all into this anti-consumer always online DRM black hole for good. I think it is better to not have them around setting up these ridiculous precedences that could destroy gaming.

I don't really care but I do feel like the market is becoming saturated with consoles. All of the big 3 will have 2 consoles out by years end and it doesn't seem like everyone will upgrade immediately with the continued support of PS360.

No. Consumers shouldn't decide if something should be legal or not, for obvious reasons. Not sure where you got that ridiculous idea.

Sony and I think this will be their last gen. I also don't see them going 3rd party because their 1st party games never sale that well. If Sony had to put its IP's next to the ones they ripped off, people would pass them. With Sony if its not bundled it doesn't sell.

I would probably buy a few Microsoft or Sony first party games if they went third party and came to the Wii U.
