Hi guys.

Tonight I logged into E Shop and saw Super Metroid was on sale for thirty British Pennies. Bargain! I added the funds needed to download this and went to buy it. During the download it came up with an error code 111-9001 and the download failed. My account was debited the money and it showed the game as purchased but obviously not saved it to my console. I have since tried to redownload it but to only come accross many, many new error codes. My net is working, my 360, phone and Wii U connect to the internet but my Wii U refuses to download the game.

Anyone had this problem? Anyone know how to resolve it?

Although you said your Wii U was on the network, maybe try recreating its network connection. I saw some odd behaviour from my Wii U because I'd moved it to a friend's house and set up to connect to his network. When I brought it home, things like eShop were sluggish and strange until I recreated the network connection in system settings.
