I don't get it...

when I first saw the screenshot, I thought it was photoshopped taking those statues from Brawl Fire Emblem stage and pasting them in at a lower res

The red-black effect is nice detail.

The red and black detail will be useful for new players who won't initially figure out why their characters are flying farther away from impact at certain times. And it looks great too! Very smart designing.

I wonder if there's an option to turn it off if you're playing with damage percentages off?

Wonder when will we get another Newcomer. It's been 6 months afterall. I was thinking they'd unveil Dixie Kong in line with Tropical Freeze, but the fact that they haven't shown Diddy Kong yet makes me unsure.
