Riot, Meta is the best character and all and has seldom poor matchups, but you're seriously overplaying the whole melodramatic "MK is so broken lololol" thing. A smart GnW, Diddy, Snake, Falco or ROB (among others) can beat a Metaknight without too much trouble.

Skill for skill, I believe a Marth user can beat a Meta user.

I agree. Meta is far from broken but he is a hard characater to beat. Ya just have to be more carefull. Though, people are making a big fuss over MK these days...

@ Jski; Camping Snake is only hard if you don't get up in his face or approach predictably. However there are a few characters who can out-camp him (i.e. Samus, Pikachu, etc.).

What you really have to look out for are pressuring Snakes, IMO. A smart Snake can cut off a lot of your options.

@ riot what do you think of my ness? and did you like playing as him? You showed me the what looks to be glich in the game that lets marth win 100% of the time vs ness /cry i do not know if i should keep playing as ness but i do thank you for not doing it agend me you could of won soo easely if you did so. As for playing as ness its his back though that kills at a low %. It seems to be that 100+% when your close to the side and somthing like 140% when your comply on the other side trying the same thing.
@ twillit well most snake camp in a way that they can keep moving with the gernated roll dodges spam. Its very hard to attk him when he doing this. I guess we can call this 'mapcamping" or "maamping." This is where you are on the def but at the same time moving arone a lot to avoed attk another name would be runing away hehe.. Hmmm i would like to play your snake as ness twillit see if i can hold up better then i did befor. Still hard as crap to kill snake he just soo freeking heavy too heavy for all his attks but that the way they made him /sigh.

I could get on for just a few games if you are ready now. Try to take advantage of his recovery more. You can land an easy Bair and Spike during hi s recovery. Also if you grab me out of his recovery don't do anything and i won't be able to use it again once I break out unless I get hurt ^-^

Marth stands no chance against MetaKnight, lol. If you're a Marth player and you run into a MetaKnight, that's when it's time to counter pick. MetaKnight shuts down everything Marth has. That match up is 6/4 in favor of MetaKnight.

Jski, you Ness is pretty decent.

My MetaKnight is... I don't play him gay like I could if this where the Brawl league or like I do in tourneys. I mostly try and do stuff that looks cool with him. The way to use Meta where he is most effective bores me. Most people here wouldn't have trouble against him unless I really decide to get serious for some reason.

No he doesn't. All of the best Marth players (NEO, Meep, EL, ect) aggree that the match up is in MetaKnight's favor, as well as the best MetaKnight player, M2K.

Meta can't combo Marth as easily as other characters because of his quick Fair and counter, and since spacing is important for both characters, Marth gets tipper advantage.
Not to mention Marth's blade dance.
