But you can't deny that 2 revealed exclusives and 2 games which likely won't be isn't as impressive as all the games that MS showed, even if Sony's conference was better,

Well that's a question of "like"... for me KH3 and FFvXIIIXV reveal was the biggest of the show even if not excluisve.

JRPG is my second or third favorite genre in the games... I play some underground JRPG that few guys here should know.

I agree entirely, but for me JRPG's are the best genre. But still...althought those were by far the biggest announcements for me, you have to give MS credit where it's due. By sheer volume it's not not subjective at all, and if the Squeenix games are indeed multiplat, then their initial reveal will mean nothing in the long run.

I give the credits to MS... there are three or four games showed that I'm really interested... I give the MS show a 8/10 (really good) and the Sony a 9/10 (just because KH3 and FFXV)... haaaaaa I added +1 to Sony because the jab and price cut at the end .

Just want to post my opinion.

I am a huuuuge SONY fan. I like Sony, because I think they have many neat products and has played an important role in the technological advancement we have seen in the world of electronics. I am a consumer that acknowledges this, and I buy products based on those kind of criteria. For instance, if there is a game I don't think I will play, or even like, but I feel the company has made a unique and good game (generally), I will buy it just to support that studio that made it.

I have been bashing MS a lot for paid online, I have mocked my friends for it, because paying for online gaming (p2p) is nothing but stupid. It's that simple.

Therefore I am actually hugely disappointed with the announcement from Sony that online gaming will now be put behind a paywall... I will, most likely, still get the PS4, because it is Sony, but it will leave a bad taste in my mouth knowing that I will have to pay for online gaming. Been thinking about subscribing to PS+ for a long time anyways, just to take advantage of the cheaper prices on some digital digital titles (editæ and cloud storage so I can continue gaming at my girls house after she went to sleep). Since I buy hard copies of all my games anyway, free digital copies is of no interest to me at all.

To me, Sony dropped the ball on this, they failed, and honestly I like them less than I did yesterday. They have now taken 'inspiration' from MS, a company with crappy consumer policies, and a company which I simply loathe...

Nice to see people in damage control, also PS+ is not a value for everyone not everyone will want those games you you know
Also when did the definition of free changed? Those games are not free you need to pay to access them and when you stop paying they are gone.

Damage control? I don't think any of that is needed. But.....

OK, I'll play along. Let's say someone doesn't like any of the games on ps+, which frankly is almost impossible. You are bound to find something you like eventually. But let's just say, nothing on there is interesting. No biggie, you can look at it as an extra if you are paying to play online. That is still more value than what xbox live is giving, at worst it's on par... just charging for online play if nothing else interests you.

Sure, they are not exactly free, but you will have access to them as long as you are a subscriber. In my opinion it has more value than live.

But that's just covering the value angle........ If paying for online play is a major issue for you, I don't know what to say to that. Both systems will be charging now. There's always Wii U!!

To be honest most of the things Plus gives you for "free" you are paying. You are paying for those discounts, you are paying for those games, you are paying for all those extra in game stuff. Giving you early or exlcusive beta entries is not a bonus either because if + did not exsist you be able to get those beta's for free.

Live offers comparable stuff with its sales for arcade games and what obviously not at the same scale but I really do not know since I'm not a XBL subscriber.

Paying online is not a issue heck I'm not even mad about it. Its just hilarious watching people eat their own words. Sony fans have bashed MS calling them evil and what not for years because they charge for online gaming, now that sony is doing it its all good LOL. Honestly its just pathetic.

I never would have called them evil for charging. I personally just found it not to be worth it and Sony had the free angle this gen which was a better value. Then PS+ came along and that was the first subscription I ever payed for and I got plenty of value out of it and now it will allow me to continue to play online while enjoying my instant game collection, cloud storage, discounts, automatic syncing, etc.
