Seriously, this was the best E3 ever. This night was better than Sega x Nintendo (yes, I'm old). Sony humiliated and trolled Microsoft is so many ways I couldn't believe I was watching this stuff live. That was simply hilarious.

I always hated how MS charged for online multiplayer and got away with it. Now, Sony will do it too, and they chose the PERFECT moment to start charging for online: Sony now can match MS and charge for online while still being the White Knigts of Gaming (TM) because they skipped the draconian DRM.

It was very well thought out.

Myself, I don't mind paying for multiplaer AS LONG AS Plus keeps delivering its goods. I'm subscribed until 2015 already thanks to many deals and looks like I have my PS4 multiplayer fix paid til then.

I believe it would probably get expensive to keep gaming streaming, cross game chat, video uploads and all those network features without charging. It's under PlayStation Plus, though, and it's worth every cent so not a big deal at all. Everyone should get PS Plus. Hopefully PS Plus helps Sony to offset losses on PS4 hardware - seriously, the thing is cheap!

Also, yes, when the VS XIII logo exploded into XV logo, my mind was completely BLOWN!

I don't mind paying to play on line. It's not as bad as compared to what ms is doing

Who cares if we need ps+ to play online lol, we get over 100 bucks of content for 60 dollars per year!

I don't think that having to pay for online is going to be a big deal. Especially with the all extras that come with ps+.
I think most people will subscribe to ps+ because of the great value even if they don't play online multiplayer games much. They definitely went the right way about it.

Nice to see people in damage control, also PS+ is not a value for everyone not everyone will want those games you you know
Also when did the definition of free changed? Those games are not free you need to pay to access them and when you stop paying they are gone.

I also feel disappointed that they are requiring PS+ for online gaming but PS+ delivers amazing value so I won't be all bad. With no used games restrictions and online requirements (at least from SONY titles from what I understand) and at a lower price point, It's a trade off I'm willing to make.

actually it's $50 per year and BestBuy has it for $40 if you become a (Free) bb rewards member (takes a couple of secs to join).
