Forums - Gaming - Is the gaming industry stupid?

I was watching the E3 presentations all day and I really got annoyed by all this bullshit.

All the  "we are awesome"    "we love our fans we are nothing without you"    "ultimate experience only on our system...."  "look at us we are arrogant."

and especially all this IN ENGINE stuff. Why not ingame? In-engine can be prerendered on a supercomputer  it has no value at all..... for real gamers.
It just shows me how the games wont look on the systems they will come out on.... so its simply lying.

Also the  "exclusivley available first"  what is this even supposed to mean? A game comes out at 10:00 AM on console X and it comes out at 10:01 AM on console Y so it was exclusively available first on console X. Wow really  I am speechless.....

Its really sad that instead of showing real advantages of their systems they come up with easily misinterpretable sentences  lies and cheap ego boasting. The industry is full of little children...

Yes.

"It's not that the industry is in its adolescence, it's that you're a bunch of adolescents."

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

A lot of these presentations are directed at the media as much as you or I.

Giving the reporters and writers some quotable things is good promotion though it gets overbearing pretty fast.

Yes. Did you just realize this?

It's aimed at people that pre-orders and are graphic wh****.

I never give my money without seeing the product and don't like cinema movies that much.

Gamers are not that bright like we like to think.
