I think the internet overreacted to the review score.

Anyway I have to share that with most people possible... this Kaz guy is absolutely hilarious.

i'll say polygon is funded by microsoft and was probably bribed to make a low score if they could they would giv it 5 but that would totally bring microsoft and them to their knees!

Right. Like one review would somehow help Microsoft. Also they gave a Sony game a 9/10 not too long ago (http://www.polygon.com/game/guacamelee/3645). 

It is just that reviewer couldn't handle/enjoy the brutal intensity the game world presented. It still kind of makes them a bad reviewer unless the people who read polygon (I do too) demand more family friendly games. A review is always going to be someone's opinion but they must review it based on if they game is good for the gamers and if deserves one's time and money. 

@ green sky it is the one game that is being talked about for Sony if its fails u kno wat happens ofcourse microsoft would like it to be flopped! They are greedy cannibals explained by the used game rubbish!

Great humilty from these devs.

Nauughty Dog are a great developer. Really like these guys even if I dont like all their games.

All devs should take a leaf out of their humbleness.

So the main disagreement that this review has compared to the others... is that the level of carnage is not quite justified. Fair enough. I can imagine people disagreeing over that point. Heck, there were some people unhappy with the E3 2012 trailer and its apparent focus on brutal violence (I was one of them, but now I don't really care). But hey, if Joel falls flat as a character for some, at least Ellie is really good.
