I think PS4 will dominate the market in most regions, but X1 will put up a fair fight at first in the key market regions. If X1 does something amazing or re-writes various issues then they would put up a better fight, but I expect PS4 to sell 2 to 1 in the first 2 years then grow from there to 3 or 4 to 1.

Xbox one reversed it's DRM policies and all the other stuff sony fans complained about...so the reason people say sony won E3 is no longer sustainable...

i think the 7th gen.s showed us something about the power of PS with the comeback PS3 made, and the aligned launch theory.

it all depends on if casual gamers join the 8th gen., and wich way they go. but i don't see them as a factor.
