Forums - Nintendo - SSBB NA- Gamespot Anecdote

i don't think i'll have any trouble walking into a store on the first day to pick it up (in Australia).. that said.. i have preordered every (big) wii game i have gotten thus far, because they are always better deals than just walking in to buy it.. eg. free guides, $20-30 off, etc

For example, i got MP3 for $70 ($30 off.. yes we get ripped off) with a free guide ... and i also got Galaxy for $80 ($20 off) with a free premium edition guide or whatever the hardback cover guide was called

Man...if Nintendo made "special editions" of their big releases...they'd make a few extra truckloads of cash...and while it'd be cool to have a big Brawl artwork book or collectible stuff, I'm glad Nintendo doesn't sell out in that matter...$50 is enough for a game typically. For Brawl though...I dunno, I could spend a LOT of money.

Yeah, same here, like the $60 dollar edition would come with some concept art, a disc with Sakurai telling the making of the game process or something, then for the $120 dollar Legendary Edition would be a Mario cap and a huge hammer like the one in the game.

Oh oh!  And for $150 you would get a huge REAL hammer tat you could hit people with to flatten them like goombas.  You would also get a rodent-like animal that scientists have mutaded to look strikingly like Pikachu! xD
