No. That's an option, just like how the 3DS has an option. (If I understand what you are saying correctly.) But when there is no incentive to see it in 3D; that's what I mean.

I get what you're saying. But to be fair though, Super Mario 3D Land was made when they were still banking heavily on the 3D feature. The game 'needs' the 3D. While yes, it's surely a lot better (a lot) with the 3D on, it's not absolutely necessary to complete the game. I think it's going to be a lot like this in the new Zelda. As a side-note, I'm not exactly sure how one could even make a game that wouldn't even be completable without the 3D anyway.

The developers used the 3D in Super Mario 3D Land well. This is what I was kind of referring to in my sentence about "leaving 3D to 2011." I agree with what you and Rol have said.
