Huh? What about Mario Kart 7?

EDIT: lol, shoulda read the last page.

He is refering to the other 3d zelda games(all that used 3d graphics which includes phantom hourglass and spirt tracks). He didnt' say "all 3ds games" or whatever. Yeah it could be misread easily.

Ah, I see it now. Thanks for the clarification! Weren't Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword also 60fps though? They seemed pretty smooth to me.

I don't think so. I swore windwaker was 60fps on the gamecube and was suprised it was actually 30 fps years later .

Man if I was a handheld gamer I would swoop a 3DS up so quick. Link To The Past is gonna be awesome for you 3DS owners!

You could always become a handheld gamer.

Believe me I've considered it, seeing all the great software the 3DS has to offer is very tempting. I just like the fact that Nintendo has consistently had a strong lineup for sometime. Definitely have to think harder about purchasing one though!

I just checked and you're right, TP and SS were also 30fps. Then that means ALttP2 truely is the first Zelda game to go 60, woot!

Doesn't sound like you have any reason not to get one.

No, the first Zelda game that ran at 60fps was The Legend of Zelda. That was 27 years ago.

With the advent of 3D gaming, framerates were split in half to generate more impressive graphics. 60fps were standard for console gaming prior to the PS1/Saturn/N64.

lolz, shoulda figured someone would nitpick that. Truth is I was just too lazy to go back and put 3D in between first and Zelda hehe.

I like 3D effect a lot on some games, I hope it is at least as good as is on mario kart or kid icarus...

They have a 3D trailer you can download in the eShop, though with it being a video you don't get to see the 3D effect at it's max.

I don't see how the ALttP2 trailers are gonna fool anyone.
