Which decade? 2010-2020?

For him the others games: Dark Souls and Half-Life 2.

Ok, so... is he talking about the decade 2003-2013? or 2004-2014?

Which "real reviews"?

Sony is damn lucky with Naughty Dog being a part of their first party portfolio. I'de rather have them than 3 other '''good'' developers!

Ok nvm. Rev3 already did a review.

I would say that there are 5 games that really define this generation for me in a Good way prior to my playing of TLOU

MGS4
Uncharted 2
Gears of War
Super Mario Galaxy
Bioshock/Assassin's Creed 2

Honorable Mentions:

Mass Effect 2..it such a shame that ME3's ending was so bad...it pretty much makes everything you do in the Trilogy irrelevant that it makes the previous two games worse.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Just ignore him; he is a troll most probably.

I'll have to try the game, but I don't trust reviews after Uncharted, the level of fanboysm around ND is just wild.

It's a bit friggin' early in the decade to be calling GotD, especially since we have at least one new gen and perhaps two that will fit into the remainder of this decade. Or was he saying the decade 2004-2013, which is rather random.

Keighley's GOTG at least has a defined context, whether he's right or wrong. It'll be hard pressed to beat out Demon's Souls and Valkyria Chronicles for me. Great visuals isn't going to be enough to surpass those games for my GOTG.
