Forums - Microsoft - XB1: Can I play MY games on MY consoles simultaneously?

what about Steam?

Nope.  When you log in to one PC it logs you off steam on the other.

Though I suppose you could log on to steam, go into offline mode, then log into steam on another PC.  Would lock you out of online functionality though.

That does work. I have done that.

Oh, I know you can do it.  Doesn't change the fact however that it prevents you from smilatiously playing two of your steam library games online at once. (something i would do if given the ability depending on the game.)

No, you can't log into another 360's without being booted off the first one. This will continue I'd imagine. Can you log into 2 PS3's at the same time to play the same game?

Question's a little pointless mate.

No but on the ps3 you could dwnld a game or dlc from a friend's account and use it on your account on your console. Max of 2 consoles in total though.

That's not my question. My question was can I play fifa on my living room console, and fightnight on the console in the bedroom at the same time. Since they're both attached to my gamertag, the current information would answer "no", even though I bought both games.

However, MS has clarified that yes, I will be able to but it will run off the cloud (I'm just not able to do so at launch), and will probably require the new platinum tier xbox live.

it wont run off the cloud, just install from there(unless its a agame that is using cloud computing), or you can install from a disc i believe. But yes MS has allowed what you wanted. MS is thoughtful of its consumer base in that way

So I can log in to two different xb1's with the same gamertag?

no ms allows up to 10 family (friends) to play your digital content. They didnt go into details on how it all works with acoutns.

"Up to ten members of your family can log in and play from your shared games library on any Xbox One"
