easy post to answer lol... id still get both

Well, so far I have been skipping the upgrade to my first console in a long time. I don't have much interest in the WiiU.

All the DRM stuff with X1 will not really effect much how I buy. It will actually help the game makers have some of the funds from used games - so they can stay in business. I see that as a good thing.

I don't know if the Watch TV will work in my house as don't have have or want a cable box.

Still the other stuff - like instantly switching to another game, improved kinect voice and movement recognition, and the new X1 controller all have me more interesting in what it can do. Things could change after E3 next week, but I doubt it.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

I would buy the PS4. I like the TV features, controller with rumble triggers and snap view, which would have been originally on the Xbox One

Sad To say..I get the OP now...

I wouldn't

I was actually about to prepare myself for the worst. I asked myself "what am i going to do if Sony reall does release the PS4 as a police box with always online check ups like other consoles" it would be hard to not get PS4 but ill be damned if i buy a police box. I'm not really a pc type of guy so i was deciding to just keep riding the ps3 wave while rolling with the Wii U.

and Xbox is already a PS clone so a PlayStation with the MS approach would be an Xbox. It would also be Kinect Driven we would mainly only play Halo, Fable and Forza over and over again with lesser variety exclusives that wouldn't be for the camera sensor

Edit: oh and we would also be forced to pay for online

..aint nobody got time for that

Just depends on the games. I don't really care for having the most powerful console; I just want a console that has the games that appeal to me the most.

Fair enough.

Up is Down.

Specs are not so important, both systems are very similar. What's important is the company's philosophy towards games (or in Microsoft's case, lack of philosophy towards games) and how the system will enhance gaming. When I look at PS4 I see a console that is in every sense a console first and a media center second. When I look at the XBOne, I see an Apple TV first and a console second. I also see a device that is very abusive towards gamers, with regards to DRM, online-checks, resource intensive triple OS, advertisement-based achievements, Kinect 2 required, etc etc.

THIS.

OP, you just described fanboys.
