I thought this would be a neat thread.  Take out your SD card and load it up on your computer (forgot to about having to upload to a site like photobucket...) to participate!  I don't use the camera that often on my 3DS as I could but I have taken a few pictures.  I'll try to take more each week or so and post them up here.  I have a few pretty cool ones.  Too bad the 3D doesn't transfer or perhaps it does if you have a 3D monitor?

My 3DS pics:

(Pic of me sporting a Super Smash Bros. Melee shirt that I got from Nintendo by signing up to Nintendo Power (back in the day, RIP Nintendo Power).  This is probably almost a year old or so pic.

These remote cars are actually pretty fun to play with.  I got at least 4 hours or so playtime on them so far.  I believe one of them is a little messed up (doesn't drive too straight) probably due to driving them down stairs, crashing them into each other, etc with friends.  Picture isn't too clear though when viewed in 2D.  I had the 3D effect up a lot I believe on this pic.  Pic looks blurry in 2D mode on 3DS but when you put it to 3D gets more clear.

My iguana Smokie! He has a messed up lower jaw due to not having the proper lights when I first got him...  I know I am a terrible person.  However, he is about 13 years old now and I try and treat him as best as I can.  He can turn into a jerk during mating season though and tries to attack me during that time.  Otherwise he is really nice during the rest of the year.

Scary spider I found outside my apartment!  I'd probably shit myself if I found one inside my apartment.

Cool painting one of my friends did on Colors 3D! It was his first attempt of a drawing on the 3DS and I think it came out pretty nice.

Made this Balloon Fighter in Freakyforms.  I think I did a decent job at trying to recreate the character.

Well that is about it for now.  I have a few other pics but they aren't that great (also a pic of a friend flicking me off but I'll save him the grace of not posting it on here).  I'm going to try and take more pics soon.  I'll try to find some cool nature things and take pics when I take my 3DS on a walk (gotta earn the play coins legit without shaking it which I suppose is a little work out on its own).

I know it weren't supposed to replace a camera but that is bad quality. But i think the DSi was worse, just a bit of fun though

I think the spider one came out pretty good quality (3D shot was on for that one).  Not sure what went wrong with the remote control cars one...  Not sure if having 3D setting too high makes it look worse when putting it on computer or just transfering to computer makes it worse.  Granted the camera isn't the best (been nice if they added a few more MP to the camera) but it still is capable of some decent shots.  I suppose it depends on lighting and a few other factors to get better shots.  Not bad for .3 MP!

Yea, did an edit after your post.  Looked up the MP and the cameras are only up to .3 MP.  Been nice if they at least put 4 MP cameras in.  The 3DS XL should of had better cameras.  Ah well...

You know with spiders, there are usually 2 of them... O.O

Anyway, yeah the camera quality isn't the best. I'm ashamed to admit I've never even tried the camera, the only times I used it was when screwing around with those augmented reality stuff. Nice painting by your friend though!

Sadly my first attempt at Colors 3D! was pretty pathetic compared to his.  I'll have to try to make a decent one to share soon.  You should give your camera a chance.  I suppose don't go put the 3D to max or it makes the pics blurry when in 2D.  In the middle should allow 3D effect and decent quality when shown in 2D.  I'm going to go to a few local parks in Austin in a week or two and try and get some cool nature shots myself to share.  So this thread might die a little in between but I'll bump it back up once I get some more interesting pictures.
