No PS2 version? ;-(

PES 2013 didn't release on Vita as well if I'm not mistaken, which is weird because they are basically handing circa 400k worth of sales at least.

I think they will announce both next-gen platforms down the road, why would they change the engine if they wouldn't plan to develop for the next-gens? That would be really weird.

If that's true, then no next gen at all.

Wouldn't be the least surprised if it was coming to the system, but that Nintendo have third parties keeping games unannounced for the system in preparation for E3.

Why do I suspect this? Consider CoD: Ghost, which is all but confirmed for the Wii U. "All but" only because Activision has yet to actually say "it's being released on the Wii U". Why would they refuse to simply say that, if it's coming and all the other versions have been confirmed? On the flipside, if it wasn't coming to the Wii U, why would they hesitate to say so? Get the statement out of the way early, to fend off negative criticism.

There's actually quite a few other notable titles that all indications point to being released on the system, yet not officially confirmed. The curious behaviour stands out like a proverbial sore thumb.

^^^But they skipped the PS2, huh? They could have made it a PSP port if they scrapped the old engine, I think it could still be successful.

Well that's a bad idea imo, FIFA already bigger, will make a foothold in next-gen, and start of a new generation is the best time to make a change and shift positions.

I wanted to buy the PES 2014 for the PS4 because of the EA-MS partnership but they give me no choice.
