I will never pay 60€ for a game. Not with the UK being so close.

UK is basically the saviour nation for gamers since the price on games drop ridiculously fast over a short period of time. That is why I love our online retailers as well, who are very competitive amongst each other. How are prices over there in Germany?

60€ or 51£ -_-

Thank god for amazon.co.uk...

I never buy games at launch. Why the hell should i pay the full price when you can get the same game 3 months later for less than half the launch price?

Only when i have a new console and no backlog to play, i buy games day one. And even then i don't pay more than 40 pounds :)

You seem to be from GB (can't tell with your profile being blocked xD), you GENERALLY don't pay more than 40 pounds for a game...lucky bastard^^

Most game prices do tend to drop off pretty quickly here in the UK. I rarely ever have to pay the full price of £40 for games since I can just wait about a month or so for the price to be less than £30. Unless it's a game that I REALLY want then I pay full price. Though £40 for a game is a VERY steep price point imo. It would be perfect if all games launched at £30, which is my ideal price. Less is always nice of course.

Hahahahaha :(

In Germany we pay £51 for a new game...

Wait so new games are 60 Euros? You guys are getting raped. Literally :(

Dollar and Euro aren't the same. It should like 45-50 Euros or something like that.

@UltimateUnknown,

That's not all. New EA games on the PSN are 69,99 euros!

Yeah, that would be reasonable. You guys get the correct price, we pay Dollar/Euro 1:1 (if we are particulary unlucky we even pay more, Fifa13 on the WiiU cost 70€ or 60£ at launch!) -_-

You guys should be glad that you only have to pay 60$, in sweden you have to pay around 100$ for a new game. I hope for a decrease but i seriously doubt it

Is that with built in VAT? What percentage is that in Sweden?  20%? 25%?

Yepp, its 25% i think

Don't talk to me about digital. I HATE digital with a passion because I have yet to find one digital game (outside of offers) that costs less than retail. That just doesn't make any sense to me.

It will increase to 69.90 euros (91 USD) where I live. Oh wait...

But seriously now, the price shouldn't increase. I usually buy my games on amazon.co.uk when they drop to around 15GBP. It's funny how I've bought some games at that price from amazon, when in Portugal they're still around 60-70 euros.

Good to know.  So base price is $60 versus $75 then.   Still steep for you folks, but I guess pays off in other things that are cheaper there (education and health care for example).

Yeah ofc alot of things are great here, if you need prescription medicine you only have to pay a max amount of around 300$ then the government pays for the rest all through the year. Or if you go to the hospital and need a heart surgery you only pay the entry fee of 22$, after you have payed a total of 160$ its free for the rest of the year. The only expensive healthcare is dental fees after you have turned 19

Agreed, I got Skyrim for £22 one month after it launched, prices are incredible here.

Persona 4: Arena launched 3 weeks ago here and I just got it for £15.
