It's amazing how much the industry has evolved. I still remember playing Final Fantasy 7 on the PSOne and thinking to myself it looks amazing!!

That progression. I wonder if graphics can improve that much again in another 15 to 20 years somehow?

We'll hopefully get a direct comparison of graphics between PS2,PS3 and PS4 thanks to FIFA 14 release, which several big sites are listing on PS2 as well (I couldn't 100% confirm it though).

That would be a precedent, right? A game on 3 different generations of consoles.

Honestly, the difference between Crash Bandicoot (PS2) and Ratched&Clank: Tools of Destruction is MUCH bigger than the gap between ToD and Knack. It seems we are getting pretty close to an Asymptote...

Dat KZ2 to KZSF jump. As good looking as KZ2 still is it looks barren by comparison. A fairer comparison still would have been a PS3 launch title (Resistance) Vs KIllzone Shadow Fall.

So, impressions after wtching the whole thing:

Why is this video so biased against the PS2? It could have shown GT4 instead of GT3, GTA San Andreas instead of GTA3 and Final Fantasy XII instead of Final Fantasy X, all of which looked much better than their predecessors.

I think he/she was going for earliest game from x type on each system.

People saying the two next gen consoles are only a small step above current gen, are only fooling themselves.
