don't forget that naughty dog has two teams and one is probably already working on a ps4 title for some time.

Retro has two teams now, as well.

Is that confirmed or an educated guess ? (With Retro hiring like crazy in the last year )

I thought I read it had 2 teams a while ago but I recently looked it up and couldnt find anything about it. It needs 2 teams tho so we can get a new Metroid and a new ip from them.

I am certainly behind Retro expanding, but I haven´t heard anything about it (in the sense that they are now capable of 2 games at a time in contrast to just adapting to HD development standards) Oh well, it would make a great surprise :D !

Has Retro been able to create 4 AAA IPs in 3 gens?

I guess I just made it up :p but I think thats the one thing holding them back from being the next Rare, they dont put out games fast enough.Rare had like 20 games in a 10 year span while Retro has had 4.

Well, Nintendo hasn't asked them too.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Nintendo? Asking any of their devs to make new IPs? Lol

Wii Sports/Play/Fit/Music/Party, Xenoblade Chronicles, Steel Diver, Disaster Day of Crisis, Rhythm Heaven, Brain Age, Pushmo... Nintendo don't invest as much as they should in new IPs, but they still make some.

Just goes on to show the difference in strength of the first party studios. Sony's outclasses the other two's by a mile.
