Maybe Rockstar, Bioware, Nintendo and even Retro are better in what they are doing. That I do not know, but Naughty dog has a special place in my heart thats for sure.


This highly depends on how you define milking, because Uncharted has seen 4 releases in 4 years.

Both are extremely overrated, if you ask me. Especially Naughty Dog, imo.

That said, I am enjoying DKCR nearly as much as the RARE titles, Jak & Daxter was one of my favorite PS2 games, and TLOU actually looks pretty interesting.

Naughty Dog was involved with it, at the very least.  Also all that changes is it's 3 in 4 years.  People also call various Nintendo franchises milked that are released LESS frequently than that.  In fact, a lot of studios have a release rate similar to 3 in 4 years.  So his point doesn't make much sense unless he defines milking differently.

I think almost all other Developers from Nintendo are better than Retro, like the guys who make the Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Pokemon,Fire Emblem, Xenoblade Games and so on. From Sony Sucker Punch, Media Molecule, Team ICO, thatgamecompany. From Microsoft 343 industries, Lionhead and Remedy are better. Than of course alsmost every Developer from EA is better than the two. Bioware,  Visceral Games and so on. Bethesda, Epic all the Rockstar Developers are better. Ubisoft has many Developer which are better than ND and Retro.

Than There are many awesome Developers from Japan. From Software, Level 5, Square Enix, Sega all have many good Developers, Capcom.

And than there are many small Developers like Double Fine which make better Games than ND and Retro and of course than there are a lot awesome indie developers.

Yeah but Naughty Dog has only made 3 this generation.

My point was, they had the guts to something else besides Uncharted. Maybe they will do Uncharted 4 that I do not know, but for now I appreciate them taking some risks.
