I just rented this and Res. Evil Revelations for the 360. I hope it is really good. Will have to watch out for the nudity in case the kids come in.

well, they can also see some breasts on the beach but watching you shooting others in the head could be something else

Let's see Metro 2033, according to VGChartz, sold 470,000 on 360. So, the ps3 and 360 versions of Metro: Last Light should be at around 500,000 first week combined. Is that what they mean when talking about boxed versions of the game? If so, VGChartz has Last Light for ps360 at 220,000. So could be undertracked by 300,000ish.

they said it sold more on all formats in the first week as metro: 2033 did in the first 3 months, not lifetime. lifetime was only about usa numbers.

AH, I see the "in the US" part now.  Don't know how I missed that.   Since on the 360, 2033 sold 212,000ish worldwide in 10 weeks(missing couple weeks for full 3 months) and 32,000ish on PC in 10 weeks.  So, maybe around 275,000-300,000 in 3 months for 2033.  Would make Last Light undertracked anywhere from 75,000ish to maybe 150,000 since we don't know how much more LL actually sold.

That's really impressive. Especially considering the flak it received for selling a no UI option for $5.

Must be undertracked on here.

Glad they are finding some success tho I'm sure the fact that the game had a budget that is a tenth of the competition (which would put the budget at ~$5m USD, according to Rubin anyway but he was probably exaggerating a bit) helps the low sales be considered a success. The game didn't seem to do all that well on Steam TBH quickly dropping on the sales chart. I am sure that it will have long legs like 2033 did tho with sales.
