GTA has an equal fanbase on both xbox and PS. MGS will see a sales cut of 1/4 if it's an x1 exclusive. MGS:R on the ps3 outsold the xbox version by about 4:1 unless MS is paying for about 4-5 million of lost sales you won't see that happening.

I actually think that M$ knew that nextgen gears was going to be multiplat, so they "killed" the franchise by not promoting nor hyping the latest game, so that when people see that the franchise going now multiplat, it wont be such a big blow.

that has 0% chance of happening.   M$ nor Sony are willing to pay the 6M + of sales the game would have on the other console, in order to have it exclusive.

Ya, its like one of those "Jax and daxter" IPs....only relevant in the gen it was created in.

I'd be pretty surprised if it wasn't one of the strongest in years. Two new consoles, all launch games to unveil.
